Best movie of 2009 thus far.

Now that we have for worst, what would you guys/gals rate the best of 2009?

My vote would have to be the new transformers. That movie was just awesome. Long, but awesome, and good fighting scenes.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and the Hangover.

The Hangover FTW!

Hangover was a good movie, I can't believe it took them all that time to figure out he was on the roof.

transformers had terrible acting. My sisters keeper was the best movie.

My Sister's Keeper didn't even stick to the plot, so that makes it terrible IMO.

Definitely The Hangover. No doubt.

I havent seen the hangover but I thought transformers was pretty good. I saw harry potter and it was ok

I really liked Away We Go..but it could've been better

Bruno had to be the worst movie... The trailer was 100x better than the movie itself... The hangover was GREAT! I want to see District 9 sooooo Bad!

the problem with bruno is that everyone wanted it to be like borat instead of just letting it be its own movie

I liked Herpers. Harry Potter was pretty good too. Transformers was such non-stop action that it got boring.

Oh, I forgot Up. I loved it..it was my favorite Disney Pixar movie..aside from Finding Nemo and Ratatouille. xD

I haven't seen it but i think inglorious bas***** is gonna be the top.

I felt that way with the first one.

I thought harry potter was funny which is why i liked it. I never go in watching a HP movie expecting it to be anywhere close to the book, because for one they would 6 be hours long if they were, and two they leave so much stuff out i wonder how they are going to make up for it in the last two movies.SPOILER ( Like how they added the one field scene at the burrow? that wasnt even in the book and is going to cause trouble because they spend a good portion of the book in the burrow in the last book) I just like it as the movie.

Harry Potter was good, but my favorite this year was District 9. That movie was amazing, it had so many good elements to it idk where to start. Transformers and that GI Joe were horrible!!!

Inglorious Basterds was AWESOME! It crushes the hangover, HP6 and well, every movie made this year and maybe in the last 5 years.

If you can, go watch that movie at it's next showing in your local cinema...thank me later.

I'm sorry Bruce, but it wasn't worth really paying to see in theatres.

So far the Hangover. ABSOLUTELY worth a watch.

As a comedy, I can't really count it though.

I have really high expectations for Inglorious Bastards.

i have to go with the hangover also it was a great movie and for some reason i can really see that happen i have some crazy friends

Inglourious blank

Out of what I've seen so far.... Star Trek has been my absolute fave, I'm so sad it didn't stick around in the theaters here longer. Following for a close second is District 9, also very awesome.

I hope I get to see Ponyo, do so love those Miyazaki films :)

Wasn't trying to spoil anything. The movies been out for quite some time, so I figured if you haven't seen it yet, then you probably didn't want to.

I thought the hangover was ok. But the funniest movie in awhile was Step Brothers. Even though it is a year old.

teh action was good, the parents were SO corny!
it was trying way too hard to be funny (IMO)

I saw inglorious basterds Friday, it was great. I'll give it best movie I've seen this year

just saw Julia & Julia and thought it was great....really makes me wish i could cook! idk if its the best of 2009 ( dont remember what i've seen) but it was pretty darn good!

I saw inglorious basterds last night, it was AWESOME!!!! 2 1/2 HOURS OF CARNAGE AND SUSPENSE:gj::gj::gj: go see it :D
