Blue eyed luecys and polar ball hets

Hello everyone!
I have a question- I have a male double het Polar ball ( Het for both leucistic & Albino ). I am thinking about getting a female blue eyed leucy. What could i produce if i breed them together?

What exactly do you have a lesser,mojo,etc. het for albino

he's a normal double het. what do you think?

I think he meant by what type of morph produced that BEL, like a Mojave, Fire, Lesser, etc. that your snake is a het for.

Well heres the thing Bels ar e produced from co don animals ie,
Butter
Lesser Platinum
Mojave
Russo
These are the only animals that can produce a Bel so if you have one of these het for albino then cool if not you were cheated outta some money.
If you have an animal that looks like a normal then it s probably either a normal or just a het for albino. I hope you didnt pay alot for it. Can you post a pic.

Yeah, what he said. Lucy's are from a visible co dominant morph, not a normal looking animal "het" for Lucy.
Maybe double het for snow?

Upload your pics to something like Photobucket. Once pics are uploaded you can copy the IMG code and paste it right here in the thread.

Upload your photo to photobucket or another image hosting site. Then you can just copy the image code which will be on the bottom of the uploaded pic and paste it into a thread. :) Doh Darn you Walt darn you all to heck lol.

Het Russo? That would make sense....I always forget about that one;)
They make the "White Diamond" lucy.

Yeah..It would have to be a het russo, het albino. I am not great at identifying het russos. Who is the breeder?

Not if it's a Russo het albino....that also depends on what you consider "cheap";)
Russo's make fantastic looking lucy's, so check with the seller/breeder and see what it is.

Actually, the polar balls are Russo line leucistics and albino. I don't think a double combo animal has been produced yet with any of the other lines of blue eyed leucistics and albino.

The picture does look like it could be a Russo line het leucistic. I think he calls them lemon balls?

WEll I would ask the breeder/seller you got it from what it is. It could possibly be a Russo. They are a very subtle morph that makes a Lucy. You may not be out anything. Its a possibility but you will not know for sure till you breed it. :)

Ahh that makes sense. Thanks for the info. I honestly have never heard of a polar ball before this thread. Had to google it lol.

That is in fact a het russo so as long as it is truly a het albino you have a Het Russo BEL het Albino which is a dbl het Polar Ball.
Het russo's are one of the few hard to see BEL makers but it has all the suttle markings that a het Russo has. Congrats and good luck on a Polar Ball

If it came from Vin....then it is what it is. No worries;) He has been doing this this for a while.....and he is trustworthy. Sometimes hets (and the subtle stuff) are only as good as the person that sold them to you.

Like other said, you didn't got cheated :) Vin Russo seams like a guy with experience and someone who can be trusted.

To answer your question, you should try to grab an albino. Is your BP a male or female ? Male usually breed in the second year (some even in the first) and female at their third winter.

But getting an albino, would get you closer to a Polar ball. Since you should have albinos het lucy and het lucy and normals. Not sure if you would be able to distinguish the het lucy from the normals, but I think so. After it's just a point where you put the albinos het back together and keep your finger crossed :)

Otherwise, you could get another het lucy (either lesser, butter or mojave) and go for the blue eyed lucy possible het albino :D
