Hog ate today, 2 pics I took :]

Well, I took 4 but the others were blurry. These two came out the best of the 4. It's cute when Hogs eat.. when I hand the little pinkie to him he just opens right up and takes the pinkie right from my fingers. I'll take some better pics next week when I feed, and will most likely get pics of all of the snakes feeding if not maybe even striking to bite onto the food item.

Ya Hogs are just so adorable, and very pretty. I love their small faces, they remind me of a bulldog in a way because of their faces being short like a bulldog's face.

In the second pic if you notice some liquidy stuff on the pinkie that's blood lol.. there was quite a lot of it gushing out too.

Aha. So funny I forgot to laugh, lol. No, when I stated that I meant he would swallow the prey as soon as I went to put it in the tank. Straight from my hands to his mouth.

That was my exact thought when I read it, too (before I read the original post)... lol

Where did the pinkies tail go? Did it snap off when you thawed it or something else?

my guess is that its there, but the angle of the picture is creating an optical illusion.

No for some reason it was already off when I got it but since it's f/t I bet that things could snap of easily so I guess that's what happened to the tail.

When i first got Khan he was all cool just taking the pinky from me and chomping it down. that lasted about 5 feedings, then he decided he didn't want to eat for a few weeks. Now he'll eat, but i have to feed him in his little rock hide and leave him alone. I'll try presenting it to him and he just hisses and fake strikes the poor pinky and runs away.

Well at least he eats. Every time I put a pinkie in there my Hog just opens his mouth really wide and bites down onto it and starts eating it even if I'm still holding the pinkie lol.
