Still No Bees

So far this season I have had 10 eggs from 2 clutches for possible bumble bees. I would have figured maybe 2-3 bees, more or less the odds. This second clutch just hatched and out of 10 we had 6 normals, 3 spiders and one pastel.

Talk about bad odds.

This clutch we finally see a pastel. I have a smokin 2800 gram pastel that seems to have reabsorbed 9 nice follicles we felt in June so there goes that shot.

Oh well there's always next season. Just wanted to share how fun the odds can be sometimes:oops:

Bummer man. Well goodluck next time. I am keeping my fingers crossed for this season. I will have my Bino, mojo, a few pastels, pastel YB, spider, and 6 or 7 females that should be ready to go,

that stinks i hope i get one bee from mine if im real lucky ill get a mojave bumble bee :taz::taz:

I've got two shots at bees this year, from a male spider to female pastel and a male pastel to a female spider.

The first clutch yielded 1.2 normals and 1.0 pastel.

The second clutch (also 4 eggs) is due next week.

We'll see about the odds evening out or not!

Sometimes missing one year can REALLY work for you the next Raul. Better luck with Bees next season -- almost here!! :D

You should make up for it elsewhere Raul. I feel your pain, as we just had our first shot at Mystic Potions. 4 eggs, 3 Normals and 1 Mystic. Hopefully our second clutch is better.
