I keep adult males and females up tp 1500/2000 grams in 32 quarts tubs, females over 1500/2000 grams are in 41 quarts tubs.

So do you think 41's are better. I think there is not point changing tubs after tubs after tubs. Lol. I have around 2 tubs just because I keep changing hem every 4-6 months and I got to stop that! What do you guys keep babies and juvis in? I forgot to add that.;)

I keep babies (up to 8 months old) in 16qt tubs. Works well for me.

Depends on the size I would not keep a female above the weight I mentioned in a 32 quarts tub.

I only use 3 different sizes of tubs for my snakes. :gj:

What are the floor dimensions of a 32qt? That might help with my bp stress issue.

I use 15qt for juveniles, shoe box for hatchlings... 32 qts are great for adult males and younger/smaller girls. 41-42qt seem to do well for most adult gals- although I'm looking to ad a CB 70 rack or 2 which would be perfect for any BIG gals, since I've a few BP girls that are over 5 ft 6+ lbs... I've got my a few of the biggest in Iris 900s but it's over-kill.

    Not to hijack the thread...

At what weight (Or would it be length?) would a 20g tank be appropriate?

My 2000g/4ft female is in a 41qt, and seems perfectly content. :gj: Sometimes it looks too small, but I'm afraid she'd be intimidated by anything larger.

Correct me if I'm wrong anyone, but I think BPs above ~1500g should be in a 20gal - which is comparable to a 41qt tub.

Rule of thumb is floor space to length of snake. 1/2 length of snake for length of floor by 1/4 length of snake for floor width.

Example: a 4 ft snake should have a 2'L x1'W floor space; 3' x 2' is plenty for the biggest BPs.
