    Orphan: It's Horrific
    Hi,

I saw Orphan yesterday with two friends... I was screaming like a little girl, and the little girl sitting right next to me was clapping.

    ...but it was scary.

The thing is, most of this story is plausible. Scariest movie I've ever seen.

Good to hear, I've been procrastinating on this movie, didn't think a lil girl would be all that frightening. I'll have to see it after I see District 9 tonight.

Lol, it doesn't really seem that bad. My mom and sister saw it and my mom hates horror movies but she said it wasn't even scary but it was creepy and she thought it was an awesome movie. I may just go see it, though I do hate scary movies. I will seriously get nightmares, but in this movie I don't think there are creepy monter-people that look deformed and screwed up lol.

This is one of the only movies where the movie is scarier than the actual trailer.

I don't usually get all that scared, but this one scared the crap out of me.

    Maybe I'm just a scaredy-cat , I'll consider the possibility... ;)

It was ok. It did have some good old fashioned scary moments without useless gore. The plot was a bit far fetched, but I've watched many movies with way more ridiculous stories.

Meh, if it wasn't for a little girl it probably wouldn't have been scary. There's something about them...

Orphan was truly one of the worst horror flicks I've seen in awhile. The ending was pretty unexpected and really streched. Not much gore or suspense there..or at least I thought so. I didn't enjoy it all..the only part of it that gave me chills was the birth of the baby in the beginning. [I would lose my mind if I ever saw something like that after labor.]
I'm looking forward to The Final Destination..all the others freaked me out a bit so I'm sure this one will be no exception. I also can't wait for Halloween 2. =]

I'll have to check it out after District 9 also. I have to admit from the trailer the movie didn't really seem all that interesting.

I saw the trailer and that was enough to put me off.
First thing I thought was, now thats not gonna help adoptions much:P

Actually, adoption agencies were pissed because it might put people off from adopting.

If people are really so boneheaded to let their decision be based on a movie, then these folkses shouldn't have children in the first place.

whether it actually affects adoptions or not, the movie is trying to send a message that kids that need adopting are evil, and that's despicable.
I love horror movies, but as soon as I heard about the twist I put it on my list of vetoed movies. Just because a movie ends a different way than you respect, that does NOT make it good, or even interesting or original

It's a true story about my life. I'm not happy that they decided to cast my character with a little girl. I was kinda hoping for at least John Stamos. But at least they kept me evil. :)
