Best Fast Mexican Food?

What is the best Fast causal or Fast food Mexican place to eat?

It's a shame you don't live in San Diego where we've got taco shops around every corner, and vendors dishing out TJ-style carne asada tacos on the street. Out of your options I've only eaten at Chipotle and Taco Bell. I voted for Chipotle.

Qdoba all the way for me. I think they have the best tasting ingredients and a lot of variety on their menu.

We are certainly more limited here than on the West Coast. At least we are starting to get more chains here though. I've eaten at all of the above. Chipotle is pretty good but they have a more limited menu than Qdoba and they charged extra for guacamole that doesnt taste as good to me. Moe's is ok as well but their ground beef tastes very cheap to me.

Taco bell is the only fast food one while the others are fast causal so its really not in the same class if you ask me. However, most people probably have been to one or have one near them.

Just make home made tacos or go to a taqueria all of those are crap.

When I first moved to the West Coast I couldnt find decent Italian food but quickly fell in love with Mexican food. The East Coast suffered the same thing in reverse.

Nowadays things are better:)

My vote, "Baja Fresh" mahi fish tacos all the way:taz:

here in vegas we got del taco,robertos...for fast good food i like robertos.........casual place lindo michiocan!:gj:

My BF and I live in Orange County and we love this little hole in the wall place called El Cotijas they have the bomb fish tacos!!! Everything else on their menu that we have tried rocks too and their prices are cheap....:banana:

Next time I am traveling I have to try out Baja Fresh or Taco de Mexico......or maybe they will come here eventually.....we just started getting Chipotole's

Not fast food by any means but I actually miss the old Chi-Chi's restaurants..

I love chipotle.

Taco bell, only because I don't really eat mexican food, mainly because I don't like going to restaurants.

we have a small mom and pop chain here in austin called taqueria arrandas that crushes places like chipotle and taco bell. chipotle IS good however, if you're in the mood for a burrito the size of your thigh.

Mighty Tacoo

We have Burrito Bandito, here in Seattle. Omigaw it's sooooo good. I don't know what they put in their burrito sauce, but I have the strong suspicion that it's magic and drugs. Not necessarily in that order.

I think it's actually called Bandito's, but we can't help but call it Burrito Bandito.


Out of the choices listed, I likes me the Chipotle the best, but I've only ever eaten there a handful of times. The calories scare the bajeebers out of me. See, Burrito Bandito doesn't list theirs, so ya know, it's safe. :rolleyes:

Taco Time is my guilty pleasure. Even though it's like Mexican food filtered through the wild imaginations of yuppie suburbanites. Still don't know why their "sour cream" is actually ranch dressing. :confused: But still delicious.

If you're ever in Salt Lake City, there's a joint called the Red Iguana. Look it up online and watch the Diners Drive-ins and Dives clip on it. It's absolutely MAGNIFICENT Mexican food. For reals.

24 hours Beto's in Salt Lake City, Ut! They are so freakin' good! 3 bucks for huge burritos, excellent for late night munchies while on a budget.

Lol I agree nothing better then authentic. And fyi for the OP Tacobells not mexican lol. Delicious but not mexican. :D I would say for my area either King Taco or Tacos Mexico.

I'm gonna go with taco bell because of baja blast mountain dew.But on a real note in las vegas there is this nice little place roberto's bomb mexican food anyone in vegas should check it out it is 24 hours i believe and is right next to a jamba juice.

Taco Bell definitely isn't Mexican, but it's decent for fast food. The best authentic Mexican fast food I've ever had was in Rosarito, Mexico. A little taco stand where the woman made corn tortillas in front of you. I think they were about 30 cents each at the time.

The best Mexican food I ever had was from my wife, who was born in Mexico so should know a little something about Mexican food. :P I actually prefer her food to her mother's.

A few fun facts about Mexican food: Hard shell tacos aren't Mexican at all, they're American. Burritos are almost non-existent in Mexico as well, except for some northern regions. And not all Mole is made with chocolate. There are a lot of different Moles which vary depending on the region and local ingredients.

The only one on the list that we have around here is Taco Bell, but I would not call that Mexican food. We have a place here called Puerto Vallarta that is pretty decent. It is ran by Mexicans, but they still Americanize the food.

I like Baja Fresh for fast food yupster style Mexican food.

In Southwest Detroit it's called Mexican Town. Great authentic Mexican Restaurants all over the place! My favorite is Mexican Village. I've been going there since a child. The Mexican bakery is right down the street and just tops the night off after bean burritos! MMM :D

I love taco bell if I had to choose fast food.
