Which is more important, and which one should I focus on purchasing?

As of most of you know, I use a heat lamp for my BP. I also use only one hide on the warm side, but a plant that can hide her on the cool end. And also use just one of those crappy hygrometer meters, not the digital. So, which should I focus on getting? I can only get one of the three listed. So, which should I focus on purchasing first?

-UTH & Dimmer
-Digital Hygrometer
-Similar hide on cool end

Over time I will be able to get them all.

If the heat lamp is working fine on achieving the required temperatures, definately the cool hide. Please make sure it is not a half log... as we all know, they make BPs feel very insecure. I recommend the hides from reptilebasics.com they are very good.

If you cannot get two of those hides, try to get a similar/exact hide for the cool end. The same hide on either side makes sure the snake does not favor one side more than another because it feels more secure on that side.

I have a hide that looks similar to a rock formation. Rock hide I call it lol. She fits pretty well in it and she seems to like it.

UTH:) and a thermostat. A dimmer is ok. Don't worry about a hygrometer.

And also I got a problem with controlling humidity with the lamp still so.....

Alrighty thanks Dave. I may be going tomorrow to get the UTH first, then possibly the dimmer. I wouldn't setup the UTH without the dimmer, though :].

2 wrongs dont make a right :D i would save your $ and get a ranco or a herpstat its way better than a dimmer

Well all of those things are equally important imho, but if you can only get one and as long as the lamp is keeping the temps close to where they need to be, then I would say the cool side hide. Definitely try to get an UTH and a dimmer/thermostat asap though. The hygrometer would be last on my list, but I still think they are important, mainly for making sure the humidity is right when they are shedding. So the cool side hide would be my first priority as long as the temps were okay, but ultimately it's up to you :)

A thermostat to control the heat lamp. :P You can get a cheap heat cord or undertank pad later, you can spray the tank with water to raise humidity, but precise control of the heat is most important.
