Super and.... Super?

Looks super to me just not alot of blushing thats all I mean its a normal Pastel I will take it off your hands lol.

I voted no because I think it might just be a fabulous fabulous regular pastel. I sort of hope so, as the super from THAT would be amazing. (caveat-- I have no experience. My opinion is merely an opinion.)

I am going to say it is and it is not... Here is my explination.... It is half and half. Yea that is what i think has the right bl;uching for a super but not the right head so I am at a total loss on this one.

Looks live a very nice Pastel to me. I have hatched some Pastels this year with lighter heads.

is it male or female? You would have to breed it to a norm too know for sure, if you got all pastels then its likely a super.

I've only hatched two supers in my life and they were just hatched earlier this year, but I'd say that looks like a super to me.

I would say no, it is not a Super. If you look at the head color on a hatchling Super, it starts out white at the neck and slowly fades into a gray color at the nose. If you look at that of a Pastel, it starts out either brown with perhaps a little gray mixed in (depending on the animal) and fades into a brown/black color. If you look at the animal in question, it starts out gray and fades into a brown color in on the head and near the nose (which hatchling Supers do not have). This leads me to believe that the animal in question is an exceptional Pastel, but not a Super Pastel, especially since the rest of the body does not appear to be that of a Super Pastel either.

(If my colors are slightly off it's because I'm partially color blind, so it can sometimes be hard for me to tell).

This is not the first time that Pastels that look almost like Supers have hatched out. For example, Corey Woods produced a similar animal in 2006:

I say duper super

I say no, as a have a normal ol' pastel with a light head like the one shown. You may just want to hold on to it for a little to see how it holds up to sheds. But idk..

I think, because of the head coloring and blushing, it is an amazing pastel but not a super.

I went with pastel based on the head blushing - while very bright - it doesn't remain consistently bright all the way to the nose like the super does.

Definitely a very hot pastel. I've produced a couple like it which I KNEW were not supers because they came from Pastel X Normal pairings....But boy if they had been from Pastel X Pastel I probably would have called em supers!

I say yes. Look at that white head! I think it's just a darker super. To me it looks like the lips are white almost up to the nose??? Although, the blushing on the back isn't white :confused: You'll have to update us after the first shed.
