    Start out with randomness:

    Refridgerator
    Popcorn tastes very yummy
    Refridgerator

    Then normal haikus.

    All warm and sunny
Grains of sand between my toes
    The beach can't be beat

    Oranges are great
The color same as its name
    They are a sweet treat

    I really love grapes
A fruit that is plain awesome
    Very nutritious

Just an FYI: Haikus usually have to with nature.

    I really like this thread!

    Glist'ning jade bullfrog
    Czar of insects and lilies
    Sticky road waffle

    Driving through snowflakes
    Headlight white, like blasting past
    Millions of stars

(I took liberties with that one)

    A single red rose
Trapped in a field of violets
    Slowly turns purple

XD I worked my first night in a haunted house today! It was only the dress rehearsal, but it was inspiring. I played the part of an innocent "civilian" victim separated from my group, joined theirs, and then got "kidnapped" by a chainsaw murderer, and dragged away screaming. It was fun!

    Halloween is near
    ghosts and ghouls running about
    are you afraid yet?

    work in haunted house
    got grabbed and carried away
    my ribs are bruised now.

    people scream a lot
    afraid, children cry sometimes
    the darkness is loud

    strobe lights flash quickly
    roaring, axeman attacks them
    they run into walls.

This was meant as good natured fun poking, not as an insult or slight.

Your first effort was a fine one. Keep them coming.
