Any Dirt bike riders/ atv riders?

I like to ride though I have no ride right now :(, but I was wondering if anyone else did on the forum i can't decide between a dirt bike or a racing quad :cool:, oh well

I used to have a snowmobile, but I sold it since we're moving. :D To your state, actually!

Though I haven't ridden a quad or dirt bike, all my friends have quads and love them. Dirt bikes aren't nearly as big in my area it seems.

Im about the same as you. I want to get a dirt bike or ATV but... idk. Never owned one, ive rode a yamaha grizzly 660 a few times. I really want to get a yamaha raptor 700 or a dirtbike. Probably a 250 honda or something. I dont care if its an atv or dirtbike i just want SOMETHING. Id be happy with either.
My cousin rides a 250 kawasaki dirtbike so thats why id get a dirtbike to ride with him but I think I like atvs more. Never rode a dirtbike though lol

i was looking more towards a yfz450 racing quad because i dont want a gas thirsty raptor 700 but if i do get a dirt bike it will be a two stroke i want a dirt bike but all my friends have 4x4 quads so no one to ride with :( oh well i will be happy which ever way i go :D

I used to have a couple videos of me popping the skis but I lost them. :(

charleston, lucky i have to live near lake murray, i would much rather live near the coast but that is one cool machine you had their!

Yeah, it could beat 700's off the line. Racing sleds are the best.

haha. Gas thirsty or not I just want one thats fast and. amazing. lol. I dont plan on racing it really.
The reason id pick the raptor is because its cheaper then all the yfz450's except the base one, and its 700cc and only 15lbs more then the yfz450R

Now that im looking at it I wouldnt mind the plain YFZ450. It looks nice. And its cheaper. I like the raptor because it just looks MEAN. :D

Id also take a dirt bike because theres these kids in my development who ride theyre little 85cc or what ever dirt bikes around all the time, and they've rode in our yard and stuff. They ride all the time. One kid was riding like a 125 down my street when i was walking my dog with no protective gear at all. And since he saw me he decided he would try to look cool and speed off. :rolleyes:

i wouldnt mind a raptor 350 because i would like to do like atv stunting with stoppies and long wheelies you know the fun stuff lol an a raptor 700 is just to heavy, idk i would love to have a dirt bike though

Id just go with a yfz450 then. You Could do that stuff on a 700 but... mistakes wouldnt go as well. I think id rather have an atv idk. Like i said, either one. :D

It all depends what you want to do, dirt bikes are awesome, so are quads. I had a Raptor 700, and they are not too heavy, they're great quads. Though dirt bikes kind of get old and really aren't the most comfortable to ride, so I would say go with a quad. I wouldn't get a racing one though, get a mud one. loll

Both are fun. I have only had dirt bikes, but my family has quads and I think they are great. I cant ride any of em hard anymore since my back,shoulder, and head injury but the dirt bike was always my favorite.

2 strokes are the most fun you can have on a bike...but to race now you have to use 4 strokes.

I wanna get a yfz450 now but idk what is like a standard for racing an atv. or any local races lol. i know theres different age groups and stuff and the classes by the atv size. (just becuase thats how it is with dirtbikes) I really just want one to mess around with and do some jumps on.

the raptor 450 is a good quad for racing you just have to do somethings to it, so that it is in race ready condition.
the kawi 09 KFX 450R is also a nice quad

I Used to race a lot of motocross when i was younger, but im more into just rippin the tracks now.. I ride a 2009 Kawasaki 250f Monster Energy...

450 raptor? I havent seen them before. Couldnt find any used ones either.
the KFX450R is like the only other atv i like. I dont like how the other brands look. I like the monster energy one too lol and its cheaper. I think raptors and the yfz's look the meanest. :D

i ride a kawasaki kx80 most of the time but i also have a 250 raptor and a 200cc '70 somethin honda three wheeler. lots of fun!! you and your wife are cute together, she is beautiful!!!!!
