Finally new pix of Anna Blue

I am finding it very challenging to get decent pictures that A) show her color, B) show her whole body, and C) have her head in focus. Each of my photos has about one out of three. I am going to try something a little different a little bit later so we will see how that experiment works. The above photo shows her color.

My daughter took this. We tried to get one of her stretched to show how she has grown, but she didn't WANT to stay stretched. I think she is about four and a half feet long right now. Forgive the outfit.
Re: Finally new pix of Anna Blue
Looking good. I agree with you that it is very hard to get all three in one picture.

and that's all for this playtime. I'll have to work on making some containers and set-ups that will help me get better photos. She is so beautiful and so incredibly hard to capture...
Re: Finally new pix of Anna Blue
Nice pics, she's bluing up nicely. What kind of horse is that in your signature?
Re: Finally new pix of Anna Blue
She's a beauty! Thanks so much for sharing! She is going to be a stunning adult!
Just wait until she loses all of her brown. My 2 year old adults are finally losing the brown tinge to their head. They now have a bright silver head. These animals are truly underrated.

Her color is coming out great, and I love the black stripes behind the eyes.

Thanks. :D My horse is a welsh cob x appaloosa. An odd combo but really good for dressage, very strong, and very go-ey, which I love.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. I do think they are underrated. I am not sure why EVERYone doesn't have one. ;) My son is fairly afraid fo her, so maybe they are just intimidating? They move quickly, and they know their keepers, if that makes any sense, and I get the feeling from her that she won't suffer any nonsense. Someone told me that the various species can be described in the same ways as the various horse breeds. Ball pythons are the quarter horses of the snake world, reliable, beginner friendly, slow moving, etc. I think blue beauties are a little bit more like the arabian horses. A little quicker, (ok a lot quicker), a little less likely to handle human error, etc. Anna reminds me of a friend's cobra. She has a similar feel to her. Very very smart and inquisitive. I LOVE her.

I'm not afraid of her, I just hate how she randomly bites me, for an example, ill just be holding her and she will bite me, she wont even strike, just a random slow bite, and i wash all the time so i know i don't smell like rats.
Re: Finally new pix of Anna Blue
Awesome snake.
I really want one of these in the future.
Re: Finally new pix of Anna Blue
She really is gorgeous. :gj::gj:
Re: Finally new pix of Anna Blue
Hah! I love the eye shadow!
Very cool snake.
Re: Finally new pix of Anna Blue
very pretty snake. I love how there is no pattern on the neck and then slowly there is pattern.. very different.
Re: Finally new pix of Anna Blue
Thank you all for your kind words. She is really an enjoyable creature. I highly recommend these guys and I also recommend her breeder, Freight Freitas of oxyjansen. He is a good guy and I think he puts a lot into his breeding programs.
It is very odd though how she bites my son (Paradox on here). She doesn't warn him or look upset, just starts biting him. But not me. We'll see how that progresses.
