    Closeup of the new guy...
I wish I could tell y'all what's in it, but the truth is I'm not 100% sure. There could be 6 different things going on here, and only time & future breeding will tell. To answer a couple of previous questions though, it's not a Pearl & it's not a Super Mojave. :)

Very Cool! It definitely looks like it has some phantom in it, imo... Maybe even some woma.

    Thanks for sharing Kara!

    champagne

    super(?) pastel

    cinnamon/black pastel?

and obviously a bit of paradox going on.

I'm guessing it's got some new-years booze in there.

I dig it, but I have a question.

Why do you not know what it is? Why do you mix all these combos if you cant even tell what it is?

Not tryin g to hound just curious. Its like the Mutt snake, that no one knows what morph it is...understand what Im asking?

I would guess that it's a triple combo x triple combo, so it could probably be a combo of 4 or 5, or all 6 ingredients, but they don't know exactly which genes took? I'm sure they know some of the ingredients for sure, and probably have an idea of exactly what it is, but it's hard to know for sure in a snake that looks like that, until it's bred.

Re: Closeup of the new guy...
Because, Patrick, when you start creating multi-morph combos that haven't been done before, you can only guess what something is going to look like, based on previous combos. Sometimes genes give you an appearance you weren't expecting at all (i.e. this guy), so it's up to us to breed him & find out what IS in there.

It's not as if we haven't a clue what could potentially be in this particular mix. I mean, we did select the two snakes to breed together that created this one, and it's not a guessing game of wading through possible multiple paternity. There were other animals in the clutch with very different appearances from this one...so time will tell which ingredients made it into this combo.

In the mean time, I've affectionately named him the "Curve Ball" since he was a bit unexpected. :)

    K~

The curve ball? Great name... :-)

You are going to have to breed it to 3 or 4 normals jsut to figure out whats in him! How fun...

Whatever it is it's sweet!:O As stated previously, I would love to have a morph that looked like that and I'd even be willing to take that one off your hands free of charge just so you don't have to worry about figuring out what it is!:rolleye2::gj:

Seriously? JUST like the other white snakes?

I think he is pretty awesome. I for one DO appreciate the air of mystery surrounding some of these critters. For goodness' sake-- if all breeders were handing out recipe books how much fun would THAT be?

And that's what's awesome about ball pythons - there's a favorite for everyone! I love that this "white" snake actually has some pattern that you can see, and the cool paradox spot behind the neck. To top it off, it's probably a powerhouse animal to have in one's collection! Rock on Kevin and Kara!!!! :gj:
