YES it hurt in 2 spots. Out of 14 tattoos this one was the worst. Only hurt on collar bone and near the nipple. Well worth it.

Way cool!! :gj: I've been thinking about getting one too... I had the perfect idea, but unfortunately it isn't "work-friendly" enough (around the wrist). Congrats on the new ink!

don't forget to post in the "Got Ink?" thread...that one gets viewed and updated occas. :D

Cooooool pic...wished I had the $$ to invest in that much of a tatt...Im thinking it's time to go from 2 to 3, but :sigh2: no mun, no fun.

As for the person w/the "not work friendly"....how about a bracelet/watch around your wrist to hide it at work??? Or long sleeves? Im sure there's SOME sort of work-around so U can get the tatt U want and keep the PC police off your back. :D

This is a better picture form digi cam. You can see how the collar bone causes bruising.

    Re: Spider Tattoo Done
not being mean but that guy that did it must of been a beginner cause those lines on the frame are super thick u might not like it when it heals just a lil warning thats built up ink so when it peels ur gonna see lines like if a lil kid drew it instead of one thick one

    been tattooing for 8 yrs

    Re: Spider Tattoo Done
the thick lines are actually a under shadow. the white ink is not showing up in picture that seperated it to make it look lifted off skin. and the guy i got tatted from is 51years old.

im not worried as in 3 weeks he wants me to come back to check the work after heals. So if he has to hit it again in spots hes wanting me to come back in anytime so he can check it.

I'm not riding you either, but I was going to say the same thing as Kris. Also, did you want it all done in one solid color? If you didn't, I would be upset with the artist. It's missing the white up the sides, and there's not much shading and almost no highlights that I can see. It's too late to really add highlights or white, but when you go back in a few weeks I would ask him to touch it up, adding some depth. Unless you wanted it done that way. In that case, never mind.

Here's what I would have had done

the light tan color is in the tattoo but tis still hard to see with the redness of the tatt. its got 3 different shades of bown. what your seeing is my redness mixed in still.

    Re: Spider Tattoo Done
Cool. The color looks solid, but I know it will take a week or so before it starts looking like he meant it to. Make sure you post some healed pics once it's all done.

    Re: Spider Tattoo Done
This one will take longer than the normal week to heal for me so might be late next week or after before the colors stand out. Only thing im making him redo is white. my skin dont take white well so a second coat should make it have the shadow depth under the snake.

I was trying to figure out a nice way of saying it was done very well but just couldn't word it properly...

Flamethrower ... doesn't matter how old someone is or how much experience they have tattooing... I know guys who have 20+ years experience and the work they do STILL looks like a 4year old kid did it. ;)

Does it really matter if it was done well or not, as long as he is happy with it, that is all that should matter.:gj:
