Re: anyone!?!?
Like, your burm is dead, and like, you already want to get another one? Like, you dont even know what like killed your other like snake.
Why would you like want to get one so soon?

Re: anyone!?!?
Someone is fond of the word 'like' LOL
But I have to agree. If you're not sure what killed it, you should find out first. Being that it died only a few hours ago, you should see if you can get a necropsy done.
And to answer the price question, I've seen them as low as $40 (mainly imports) and as high as $100 lately. I think $60-$80 is the general asking price.

Re: anyone!?!?
To answer your question, normal retic hatchlings are pretty affordable, as stated above by AjBalls.
As for where to get them, everywhere from local reptile shops to online breeders to reptile shows/expos.. They aren't tough to track down.

Re: anyone!?!?
Why are you asking? You already had a retic?

Re: anyone!?!?
maybe you should just get your burm stuffed and stick him back in the tank and pretend hes alive. That way a helpless retic wont be killed. Its always smart to get a good idea why a snake died before you replace it. God forbid it be a disease that could be passed to the retic

Guys,
There are more fitting ways to express your sentiments.
Lets not get this thread locked, tossed into QT or even deleted.

Re: anyone!?!?
I'm asking, because he acts like he doesn't know where he could FIND a retic, but he's already OWNED a retic by his own posts.

Re: anyone!?!?
I agree with everybody on this one. You need to make sure you're taking proper care of your snakes and find out what has been going on and causing the problems instead of adding to them first. Always better safe then sorry for you and your snakes.

I couldn't agree more.
It sounds as if you have had a terrible streak of bad luck. I really hope that is all it is. You need to ensure all of your animals (I am still a bit confused on how many you may have) receive vet care.
No matter what the safety and husbandry care should be your number one priority. Instead of filling a cage because you had a snake "mysteriously" pass away.
Good luck, and please try to get whatever is happening to your animals in check.
I hope it works out for you,
Rusty
