YouTube taking FOREVER to load videos..

The title says it all. I try watching videos on YouTube and the videos load so slowly, especially SnakeBytes!! I'm always watching SnakeBytesTV, but now it takes a good 10 minutes for the video to completely load.. It used to run so smoothly but now I have no idea what's happening. I'm updating some Java thing right now (it just said new update available) so maybe that will help the videos load quicker and run more smoothly?

Never mind it didn't work.. any suggestions? Plus I tried deleting programs on my computer that I never used but that didn't work either..

Does it still take as long if you use a different browser?

Have you run an anti-virus scan and a malware scan?

Have you noticed any other sites lsowing down? What does the result say when you go to one of the speed test sites?

My computer always takes forever to load. When I open up an internet page (or a tab) it takes a good 20 seconds or so to load. I'm just going to delete the Java thing.. my computer was NOT this slow before I downloaded it T.T

Our computer started really running slow and jacking up recently....we'd had enough of it....

Went out and bought a 24" iMac:D

Ya I got some box thing (I guess that's the box for my wireless internet) and it's also connected to my Xbox.... I think my Xbox is causing the problem now Dx.. when my Xbox was broken my brother wasn't playing it and my computer ran more smoothly but now he's on it 24/7 sooo my computer is all messed up right now.

Can't you operate several wireless devices with a wireless router setup?

Is that what your doing?

Maybe it is the XBox causing the issues.

Do you have a very good Internet package?

Sorry if I seem off, I don't know a whole lot about computers:D

Well, the Xbox is on the bottom shelf of my tv stand and the box is on a shelf above it. We have a chord that connects from the Xbox to the internet box. Every time he's on the Xbox talking to his Xbox buddies, I'm trying to get the internet back on the computer (which is a pain for me). Once I get on the computer, it runs SO SLOWLY. Not that long ago it ran smoothly. And ya my internet is pretty good

Sounds like he needs to stay off the XBOX:D

I wish I knew more to be of more assistance:(

If you can't cheerfully delete vital operating system files by accident where's the challenge?

What kind of comp is it? Winblows or other?

I have like some emachines computer.. it's a desktop also, not a laptop. Right now I'm downloading a free virus scan thing so I hope that works.. Oh and I deleted my Java thing and now im internet loads up faster. Not sure about the vids though. If I run a scan now and get rid of any viruses I'll do that then later I'll see if the vides on YouTube work. I gotta clean water dishes anyway:D

I chose San Fransisco cuz I think that's closest to me.
My download speed is 326 and my upload speed is 383

Your download speed should be in the thousands. Mine was 6,700 - standard cable internetz
