Bananas/coralglows get speckling with age. My vote is also for a banana spider.

Re: Purple Spider
I was thinking lavender albino spider, but the eyes look too dark. Probably a coral bee, unless the lighting is making the eyes appear darker. I prefer the adult coloration of lavender albinos to the adult banana/coral glows.
At any rate, NICE SNAKE!
-
Re: Purple Spider
Definitely not a lav albino. When those are babies, they're not purple, but rather a startling shiny white that turns to lavender as they grow.
A beauty for sure, no matter what it is!
-
Re: Purple Spider
now that is a neat colored snake. I so gotta have a purple colored snake in my collection.. I love the color purple. I hope the OP chimes in soon to clue us all in on the genetics of this neat little gem. and we need more pics!!
-
Re: Purple Spider
I'm going with Bannana spider. That thing is H-O-T! :gj:
-
Re: Purple Spider
If its a banana spider is it going to get those black speckles at is ages?? No chance of it staying purple/yellow? *sad*
What are the genetics of the banana anyway?

Banana is its own morph.I think its dominant (correct if i'm wrong)

Re: Purple Spider
OK where's the thread starter! we need confirmation
 spider

Re: Purple Spider
Gotta be a caramel glow spider. Look at this caramel glow, same colors, same yellow and same purple, same eyes

Re: Purple Spider
It kind be lavender albino because when they are babies they still have white on their lavender parts, if it was a banana it should start getting those black speckles all on them. It is probably a caramel glow spider.
-
Re: Purple Spider
I don't think the OP is due to return for another 3 months....the OP averages 4 posts a year. :)
Great looking animal.
Please Regius....do spill. :)
