What is a good looking Cinny...
I have been thinking about getting a female cinny to pair up with a pastel. The problem is I don't know a whole lot about cinnies. What makes a good looking cinny? Any help or comments will be appreciated!!! Thanks!!!

Re: What is a good looking Cinny...
I love the look of a nice Black Back Cinny/Black PAstel

Re: What is a good looking Cinny...
It really depends on your tastes. To me a REALLY smokin' Cinny is a bright one with insane blushing. I prefer 'floating' and busy alien heads and black back Cinnies.

Re: What is a good looking Cinny...
For me -- nothing beats a "high red" Graziani when your talking Cinnies. :gj: I am expecting a clutch from this girl in about 35 days. :D

Personal opinion.
That's what makes a good looking cin/black. I'll take a nice dark VPI satin black over others any day. But that's because I like the dark cinnies and black pastels. The blacker the better.
Every time these threads come up, the only real answer that can be taken away is... pick what YOU like, you're gonna have to look at it for a long long time.

You stated the obvious with this statement:

But you answered my question with this answer:

Re: What is a good looking Cinny...
I like the melted together alien heads on the cinnamons, like the pattern on her tail at the top of this picture, thats just what I like and think look awesome when mixed with pastels to make pewters

Re: What is a good looking Cinny...
this is my beautiful cinnie girl.. I love the blushing she has. In the end its all about what "speaks" to you when you see it. Take your time and search.. best thing to do. enjoy your hunt.

It is just my personal term for alien heads that do not attach to the belly. For a Cinnie, in my opinion, the more floating alien heads, the better!

Re: What is a good looking Cinny...
To me it is all about the head. Some of the first cinnys had SUPER light heads with almost no head stripe at all... It really makes the black eyes POP out. Seems like this gets lost more and more with each generation. Heck I see lots of "cinny's" from 08 and now 09 that have a completely normal looking head!!! In my book they shouldn't even be considered cinny's.
Luckily though I have in my collection a time capsule... Hopefully his babies will hatch any day now..... Trust me pictures do NO justice.

What makes a better looking pewter:
black pastel to pastel
or
cinny to pastel

Re: What is a good looking Cinny...
I think the cinny to pastel because I really like the elongated connected side pattern of the cinnamon

Re: What is a good looking Cinny...
cinny pewter.
Of course the ultimate morph (IMHO the only thing that compares to a pied) is a Super Cinny. I will have one of these in about 3 years.
