    Is This A Rip Off???
Okay so I want to trade my 100% het albino boa 09 or sell the boa but last night I got an offer to trade my het albino boa female 09 for a pastel male ball python also 09. I think it's a pretty fair deal but just need some peoples opinion.

I dont do boas but you can arvg a pastel male 09 to no more than 150 for a high pastel. Do you think your het is worth that or more?

Do you have paperwork guaranteeing the genetics on the boa?

well since no paperwork is there proving anything then your just selling a normal for pastel which is still a good deal. Go for it.

Then you cannot ethically trade it as 100% het albino - you'll have to trade it as a normal. What's the value of a normal?

Kid, your next answer is an important one.

Think twice before you make your next move.

If you have no proof that your boa is a 100% het, and you sell it to someone as a 100% het, what happens if it turns out to be a normal?

May wanna give that a triple check.

I have no clue what "the pine through it's eye" means, but as far as I know there is no visual tell for a het albino boa.

get in contact with the person you bought it from because if he sold it as a 100% he better of had some proof if not you were kinda ripped off

Did you mean "line" through the eye?

The ONLY guarantee that it's 100% het albino is genetic paperwork provided by the breeder that produced it.

Representing it as a het albino without that paperwork is not honest or ethical by any stretch of the imagination.

If you want to be taken seriously in this business, trade it at the value of a normal and you can tell the buyer/trader that you purchased it as a het, but that you can't guarantee that it is.

I am assuming you meant the line L and P are kinda close on the keyboard. Although I have heard this until someone can prove that "THEORY" to me then its just that, a theory. I say do it. I wouldn't waste my time with a poss het snake. Thats just me. I like to know that I have the best chances at succeeding in my goal, whatever that may be at the time. Lets see some pics of your pos het boa. I love pics.
