What do you think of the new idea?

Okay, so i started this logo a while ago and finally thought of a cool idea... And finished it today and think it came out pretty nice. Its original, and my own... Let me know what you think..

It doesn't instill a feeling of confidence. In fact, I think I'm more inclined to think of Batman Villans and the evil they are capable of than anything else.

Ummm.... I would vote against this one. Very cool art work with the picture, but I don't think I'd want to do business with that picture...(mainly because I hate clowns..lol)

Honestly, no good. I'd pass you up on doing business based on first impression. You gotta ditch the gangster look.

No.... I wish there was a warning about the clown, I HATE clowns, so very phobic, can't see a photo of them *shiver* I wouldn't look twice at a place with that logo

You seem stuck on doing a black and white logo of some type, with some alteration to a photo of yourself (which still isn't a unique idea, since it's still "god-father-ish" and still "borrows" from that theme).

Think outside the box. Focus on the snakes, not on you and your photo image. People could care less about what you look like, or who you are when looking for a breeder. They want to know three things: 1) Do you have nice snakes? 2) Are you honest and have you handled yourself honestly in past transactions? 3) Are your prices fair?

Getting to know YOU can come later - but if the image that you put out is more about you and less about the snakes, I think a lot of people are going to take a pass, not really stop by your site for very long.

Im brainstorming a whole new idea....

When I look at the image here is what comes to mind Evil / Crazy / Villain

Remember you want people to come to you not run in the opposite direction.

Again it is all about FIRST IMPRESSION

When I see that logo (being a Detroiter) I immediately think of the Insane Clown Posse. I would expect that you are a Juggalo and would definitely avoid doing business with you. I would not have given this opinion unasked, but you asked.

have to agree with everyone else. clowns usually scare people....and giving yourself an evil clown look doesn't help. first impressions pretty much are everything when starting any business, if you portray yourself as a gangster or crazy then chances are you're targeting the wrong audience or you're focusing too much on what YOU want and not the customer.

you've got some talent in making logos, you should use those skills to do something that appears a lot more professional and promotes an easy-going, reliable aura about the company you're starting.

Okay heres my new new idea.... I think its way better.... And exactly what you guys suggest.. Not any part about me. Simple. Original (i havent seen a logo like this)... And not scaring people away :) This is the logo part, i just need to come up with a name.. I was thinking "Bloodline Exotics" but i looked it up and it seems to already exist...

egg one is going in a wayyyy better direction. good work so far. can't wait to see the first draft of logo and name :)

I actually quite like that one - what would it look like with the face logo you made earlier ( not the clown one **shudder** ) in yellow and white replacing the marking in the middle of the bino's head?

Would that be too busy?

I think that might be a little too busy. that, or the bright yellow on white would have people wondering what it was lol. I think it's an interesting idea, but probably better suited for if that was...say a Spider or something with more natural color. you know, that might actually look nice and be a decent compromise between the current idea and past ideas.

if you do go that route though (pic of yourself as the marking on the python's head), I'd probably go with an image that's a little more inviting rather than solemn and distant. maybe do one of you smiling or winking or something, ya know?

I'm curious to see where you'll take this new idea now lol!

I know your past it, but I saw the clown thing, first thought that was ICP. Not a fan...

I think it looks pretty cool, but the thing is that many people don't really like clowns and have a fear of them so you may not get as many people purchasing from you with that logo. Try thinking of something to attract people and make them think "Oh, this looks like it would be a good place to purchased/buy from." It has to be more "friendly" and "welcoming" to attract more customers.
