This little girl just hatched. There is a 2nd one that has yet to come out of the egg...up next, just slit the eggs for VPI Axanthic Genetic Stripe at day 50 and we hit one...will post it when in comes out..

Very cool!

It's a double homozygous, like a snow. It just so happens that one of the mutations is recessive (VPI axanthic) and the other co-dominant (pastel). But the important thing that makes it different than other combinations of these two genes like an axanthic pastel or a pastel het axanthic is that it has two copies of each mutation (aka homozygous mutant).
