Im ready>>>whats next?

So as of right now I have 2.3 normals, 1.0 pastel (pickin up a female baby this week), 2.1 het pied. Mike(husband) tells me we should get a codom male we are thinkin of a black pastel or cinnamon. I want a female too. I am ready to spend some money and I wanna know what my options are with along with the next option to buy?) Mike and I are open to suggestions so please help....

Black Pastels and Cinnamons do the same thing differently.

You can make Pewters with your Pastel to a Black Pastel or Cinnamon, You can make more of the basic Co-dom (BP or Cinny) if you plug it in to normals, and you can work the long haul by plugging her into your Het Pied project and make Cinny or BP poss het Pieds, eventually breeding to get BP Pieds or Cinny Pieds.

If you get a pair, you can make Super Cinnies or Super Black Pastels, which are solid grey or black snakes!!

I LOVE Black Pastels and Cinnies. They can do so much!!!

thanks that is good to know, so what your saying is either is a good investment what do you think of a mojave? If I decide on that should i get a female or male? our male pastel is ready to do his work this year we want something that will do its duty this year, i mean pastaves are cool but thats basically all i can get right...

Any morph female is a great investment for the future.

Mojaves are great too. You can make Blue Eyed Leucistics with those guys!

Males are cheaper, and you can make more basic morphs with them, but you need a female of some morph to make combos in the future :)

You guys should come out here and I will show you the ropes!!

IMO I'd say something like a morph female. Maybe a spider, mojave, or something like a black pastal or something.

I have a pastel male, a black pastel is not in my arsenal yet. I am considering buying a Black Pastel.

If you want to produce pewters all you have to do it get a Black Pastel Female and breed her to your Pastel male.

well that good to know but I am picking up a new pastel female and you can have your male come an lock up on her and we'll split our supers..... but she is a baby weighin in at like 75g so ull have to wait till next year...

Well technically you mean wait til 2011-2012 year females should be onthere third winter and at least 1500 grams at the least

I say don't get a bunch of male I say since they are all fairly young buy your females now and then in the next few years buy your males. As far as BP vs. Cinny I love them both they are both just great Morphz so get one of each that way you can make Black Pewters and Cinny Pewters

well i want something that will go this yr. i think we are going to buy a female bp and a mojave we have a male lemon pastel that will be good for this yr around and so we're stuck our female we purchased will be a while till shes ready but we want something for now... so we will have those projects... i dont know i am excited
