Morphs in my price range?
I was wondering what morphs there were in my price range? I would like best to keep it no more than $300, but could go as high as $500-600. It's hard to find out exactly since every site I go to everyone's breeding something different.
Thanks!

What do you like
in the 300 price range you may be able to find male spider, pinstripe, maybe mojave, hypo/ghosts,and for sure pastels and yellow bellies. As for females its a bit tricky but mostly the same.
As for 500-600 you open a bigger door like lessers male and female, hypo/ghost females, mojave female, and spider females.
These are what I would price the animals at per the current market.

Re: Morphs in my price range?

Re: Morphs in my price range?
pastels, spiders, mojaves, yellowbellys, albinos, cinnamon, pins, theres more it really just depends on the deal.

Re: Morphs in my price range?
Just about all the morphs that have been available for more than a few years are now in that price range. And out of all of those, there are a good amount of doms and co-doms that have dropped so low that you can get a nice pair for under $600.

Re: Morphs in my price range?
Thanks :) Spiders for the most part catch my eye, but I didn't see them any less than $600 (I was on NERD's site). Can you really get them for around $300? I also really like albinos, but again, I only saw them for $800. Am I looking in the wrong places? This is exactly why I was confused, lol. Thank you so much for your help!

Re: Morphs in my price range?
Wow, thanks! :) I don't think you realized you just made my day. :D I have fallen in love with spiders, buy until now had no idea they were that cheap! (i guess that's what i get for not thinking to check classifieds here, lol)

Re: Morphs in my price range?
Are you gonna purchase him? If you dont I might, that is a really great price:D you should defienately hop on that one.

Re: Morphs in my price range?
lol, I forgot to mention that I'm not buying until October-November. We're taking too many trips at the moment for me to get them set up properly, but once the semester starts and I get settled I'll have plenty of time. Do juveniles typically sell around that time? I know there seems to be a certain season they seem to be available, well, so I heard anyway.
Oh, and you snatch up that beauty! :) I don't blame ya, wish I could!

Re: Morphs in my price range?
They seem to sell pretty strong all year to me. That is right in the beggining of breeding season so I really dont know, as far as I have seen though spiders are readily availible year round.

Re: Morphs in my price range?
Thanks. I'm almost positive now that I'll be getting a spider. I was going to settle for a pastel, but to me, they are just too similar to normals (unless you're willing to pay much more). Nothing catches my eye like a spider though.

Haha combine the two and I guarantee you get something that catches your eye.:P

Re: Morphs in my price range?
lol, I do dream of owning a bee one day! :) Right now, being my first ball python, I just don't feel comfortable spending that much. But if I get a spider... then a pastel... :D

Re: Morphs in my price range?
Yea take it slow there really is no reason to blow all your dough. In a year the morphs prices will start to drop again except for the ones who have already hit rock bottom.
-
Re: Morphs in my price range?
That's very true. I was shocked by past threads how much they've dropped. Some of my dream ones are bees, caramels (LOVE this one, no idea how much they are), and especially blue eyed lucys, though it seems far cheaper just to breed your own. I also had a question, are there any spider-albinos out there?

Re: Morphs in my price range?
Ok, that's awesome! :D I can't believe how many morphs there are, that one's definitely going on my list. I haven't even gotten my first one yet and I'm already addicted, sheesh.. :P
Now, would I get prices like the ones I was shown here at a reptile show?
-
Re: Morphs in my price range?
usually reptile show prices are pretty low. you can usually do a little bit of negotiating and get them even lower. I have seen a male spider go for 175 at a show.
