Black Platty Ball!!!

hey guys, new to the forum here, but here at JHB we were very fortunate to produce a black pastel lesser this year, im really happy with her, she has amber sides down her, lots of stripes and almost a purple color in person, she hasnt gone through her first shed yet, but i snapped a few pics of her for now and i will get more. i just think she stunning and will be great for some future projects and i am excited to have her and share it with you guys, lemme know what you think.

Be sure she is what you think she is before you market her -- which you should not be doing on this forum. ;)

I will restate my previous post in this thread -- She looks VERY DIFFERENT :O from Lesser Black combos I have seen thus far. Based on the others I have seen -- I would say she is not the combo. Others in this thread clearly feel differently. I am just trying to keep you from getting in a "sticky situation". :)

i totally understand, the reason i am 100% sure is because the difference between the lessers in the clutch, "night and day" but i totally understand what u are saying.

I gotta say I agree with Bill. Maybe it's just the picture, but that looks like a lesser to me. Maybe you could post a photo of the whole clutch so we can see the night and day difference you're talking about?

wish i could, but the lesser in the clutch came out of the egg with its yolk sack still attached and died.

It definitely doesn't have the classic Black Pastel alien heads usually seen with this combo...

the dad never had that classic alien head as do all my black pastels, only cinny's do

i figured her lightness with his nice dark patterns would mix nicely, the lessers in the clutch looked just like her now and when she was a baby, but this thing looks so different, im almost positive, in all those pics you showed me, they were all different, maybe this one is much lighter, it has to do with the parents, u can see in the pic

I'm confused. You keep saying the other lessers in the clutch look nothing like this one, but you also said there was only one other lesser in clutch and it didn't make it. :confuzd:

ya im sorry i said it in plural by mistake, there was a lesser in the clutch that came out with its full yolk sack and croaked. that was the only lesser in the clutch unless this girl turns out to be a lesser which would be weird, because they were so different, we will wait and see, she should be shedding tonight. im not saying she is or isnt, the fact is that she is werid looking and it would be pretty cool to see if she proves out to be the double codom. will have to wait and see.
