The poor boy is going through a bad shed... He was blue when I got him... Then he spent alot of yesterday in a pillowcase, while i walked around the show... :( Im a bad mommy already.. :tears:

You can't really blame yourself much for that shed if he was already at that point when ya got him. I'm sure his next shed will go much better.

Danounet.. yep walmart...in the fish decorations...the price tag on the shelf says skull assorment... the human skull and one dino skull... now i would love to find a rib cage that could also be a hide and maybe a pelvis?? lol...

Thanks Waltah!... I didnt think it was my fault since he was noticably going to shed when I got him, but only shed half of it today. I still feel bad.. maybe if I had had something other than a pillowcase to keep him in and the humidity up he would have a better shed.

Should I bath him and try to losen it up or just let him be since yesterday was so stressful??

What you can do is well.....grab that pillowcase again. Wet it down good with warm water and put him in it. After a few minutes just start gently rubbing his body through the pillowcase and it should probably take care of it. How old are these guys?

Waltah...they are two and a half weeks i think...he told me..but i forgot to write it down... ill be calling him to find out... so this could be his first shed?? but he did say they have been eating for him...

I thought they looked pretty small. Most breeders like to get a few meals into their babies before selling them. They will probably need the stimulation from live prey at that age, so make sure you have access to the right size food.

well i was trying the pillowcase thing... had both him and the wet pillowcase in the sink with a little bit of warm water extra.. good thing i had extra water... cause he decided to give me a poo... we got liquid then solid urates then messy poo... not solid like my other bp gives me...

meanwhile my female ate fuzzy mouse...whoot whoot... hope my boy follows suit..
