    ShamWow!
As many of you guys now, ShamWow is a shammy that supposedly holds 50 times its weight in water, and it will have you saying WOW every time!

That happened to me today, and I said "WOW!!This thing sucks!I did the same things the guy did in the commerical, and it didn't even work!"Its like paying 19.95 plus s&h for a yellow towel!Luckily it wasn't me who bought it, so no wasted money :)

My advice, if you want something that will work like ShamWow in the commericals, get a tack cloth for 3 bucks at your local hardware store, they are made to pick up even the TINIEST speck of dirt on almost anything. And it actually works!

Diver shammys work. I had a few when I used to be a diver. They are like 10 bucks at swimming stores.

Did you have it wet first? Consumer reports ran stories on these things a while back and said as long as you use them correctly, they're great.

shammy cloths work well if used correctly (as in soak before using, don't try to use it when it's dry and hard)

best for drying off the truck in the summer, keeps those water spots off.
