Should I feed tonight?
My three BPs have been pretty consistent live feeders, but yesterday I decided to try giving them all F/T, since I'm hoping to switch over. Shockingly, my usually picky Delilah was the only one who ate - in full shed, nonetheless. :O Toby, the only one who HAS eaten F/T before rejected his, and so did Mona. I think Toby was just not hungry yet, considering he had a double meal (ate Delilah's leftover mouse) last week... as for Mona, she might be a live-only gal? I know she must be hungry, as I've seen her roaming for food the last 3 nights.
Since they've been consistent with live food in the past, should I get them more food tonight? (pet store is open for 2 more hours) I really don't want to get off-schedule, and Wednesday or Thursday are my usual feeding days... not too worried about stressing them out, particularly mellow Toby, but I don't want to be stuck with rejected live prey. Whaddya think? TIA for any advice!

I see you have a dog and cats, like I do. Isn't it sooooo much easier to open a bag of kibble and pour it into a bowl? :D

Totally... LOL. But on the other hand, you can't leave a dog alone for a week without food. :P

Just leave a 20 lb. bag open on the kitchen floor. (Nah, it'll be gone in the first day, LOL!)

Skipping a week isn't going to hurt them any. I'd skip a week and try F/T again. Did you do the "dead mouse dance"? lol Trying to feed them again today may just stress them out. Next week they should all be a bit extra hungry and a bit strike happy to eat.

Yeah, that'll work! :8:
My dog actually could control himself, but he's an exception to the rule... ;)

Oh yeah... they did a full tango, LOL. :D I literally tried everything, but they just didn't go for it! Weird, because I've seen Toby take a F/T mouse before - so I guess it won't hurt to get them nice & hungry.

OMG, now I'm picturing it too... we are morbid, aren't we?
I was even making them talk - "Hi, I'm a live rat, and I'm running past you! Eat me!" Oy, the things we do for our snakes.

As long as these are healthy snakes of normal weight I'd suggest you just skip it and feed on schedule the next time around. I've never had much luck doing any sort of back to back food offerings so I haven't bothered with that in years.

It may sound gruesome, but cutting open the head a little so that some brain matter or blood comes out might work. I read it on here before and tried it with a picky eater and he went for it.

Yeah, they are healthy and fat! ;) Toby weighed about 330g at his last weighing (he's young), and Mona is nearly 2000g... so I know a missed meal won't kill her, LOL.

Bleh... that might be too morbid, even for me. :P I've heard of people trying that, but I would like to avoid brain surgery if possible!
