    Dealing with snake waste
If it is poop I wrap the spoiled newspaper up, tape it, and throw it in the garbage. With urine I wrap it in another piece of newspaper, fold it, tape it, then throw it away. How do you guys do it?

Non of my snakes are on newspaper or paper towels. I keep the Colubrids (Kings and Corn) on Aspen Bedding, my Dumeril's on Aspen and Bark, and my BPs on Cypress Mulch. All I do is take some toilet paper, pick up the feces, and flush it down the toilet. Sometimes I'll forget to put it in the toilet so I'll throw it away.

the regular latex (doctor gloves) when you ball up the poop in the newspaper hold a tight fist and start taking the glove off turning it inside out and its like a little baggy i shove about 5-6 newspaper sheets on it lol

I folded my last spoiled sheet of newspaper in a ziplock bag, think I will continue to do this. I looked up latex gloves but a box of 50 is like $99.

I take the wasted papertowels or aspen bedding in my hand and throw it in the trash.
Wipe out the tub with Healthy Habitat and replace.

With aspen I spot clean with my hands. don't really care that much.

The problem with just throwing it in the trash is that the snakes and garbage or both in my room where I sleep and work. I don't want to be smelling that all day lol.

Yeah I had a feeling it wouldn't take you long to fill up a garbage bag of snake waste. Looking for alternatives for people like myself with a small collection of balls.

I don't know where you're looking cause those prices are insanely high.

Go to your local pharmacy. They should have latex/nitrile/vinyl gloves for around $5-10 for a box of 100.

Don't use gloves, just roll everything up into a ball with the paper, put into plastic grocery bag. Usually fill two or three of those on cleaning day. Tie the grocery bag up and throw out.

I use my bare hands for everything, poo, pee, etc etc...

I just wrap the Kraft Paper up and throw it in a 32gal trash can I have in my snake room.

Empty it every trash day to every other trash day:D

Ditto on the plastic grocery bags and ditto on the filling two or three of those, but only when cleaning up after the burm. "Slithering through poop is fun!"

    Same here.

Bags, and plastics, and gloves...is just to much waste for me. I am already NOT recycling the paper I am using. I dont want to add a bunch of plastic that Im just gonna toss too.

I use newspaper substrate, so I just wrap it up and toss it. For really messy defecations, I will grab some paper towels to prevent my hands from getting icky :) If it isn't near garbage day, I toss the paper/junk into the firepit outside; nothing harmful from burning some waste/paper, I guess.

Same system over here for the most part. 33 gallon trash can with heavy duty contractor bags. Only difference being that at the end of the week it gets filled up with rodent bedding also.
