    Bumble Bee X Normal
Hi! I have some babies hatched just yesterday, their parents are Bumble Bee and a Normal, I have some Pastels came out, but I have these unknown babies(img 1-4), and their parents(img 5-7). Here's the question, do you guys know what gene they are? They look like Mojave, but I haven't ever put a Mojave with the Normal.
Note: Image 6 is the belly of their mother, it means Normal.

When did you get the female? Possibility is that the previous owner paired her with a mojave and she reatained the sperm.

To Sloanreptiles: I got it around 8 years ago, it's a wild caught female, and I never paired it with Mojo, that's why I'm wondering why some Mojos came out. Thanks for the reply!

Did you get spiders from the clutch also? Or just Mojave's and pastels?

There Mojos. Dont question it and RUN with what you got. Keep any females if any and keep it going

Any other clutches from the male to see if he really is throwing those mojaves (the inverted triangle single alien eyes are classic)? I'm also thinking dad might be mojave + pastel + spider and the spider has done a good job of hiding the mojave.

Me thinks something is a rye here either you have a rough Mojo breeding females or the Bee has some mojo..

I fell pretty sure that it was a Mojo that breed the female some where in the works. The only reason I say that is if the bee had Mojo in it you'd see some pastels or spiders or some other combo in there.

He did say he got some pastels, just no spiders.

Those are Mojos! Your Bee is maybe a Mojo Bee? Wow- neat! What a stud he is. The odds are not impossible to get Mojos and Pastels but no Spiders. Maybe next year you'll get spiders too.

The OP mentioned some pastels. In small ball python clutches could easily have missed spider.

Would sure be nice if we had a paternity test to see if it's another male but if the OP is sure that there isn't another possible mojave father I'd look into where that bee came from and if it's possible it's also a mojave.

Between this and the pastel caramel I'm not feeling so bad about not being able to tell if my first pastels where also ghost or not (not). Looks like even big breeders miss combos sometimes. We would like everything to be cut and dry all the time but maybe id problems will become more common as the combo mixing pot heats up.

Well, since you will not answer my question.

I would ask who ever you got the bee from if there is mojo in there.

Sorry for the late reply, I'm not sure where the bee from because it's from from a local reptile shop, I need to ask them. Thanks for the reply!

Cause I cannot imagine 8 year sperm retention. And that female is VERY normal looking.

    Pretty cool none the less.

Yeah, the female is wild caught and haven't been paired when she's with the breeder. Thanks for your reply!

I'd definitely say that bee is a mojobee.

If you bought it as a bee you scored big time. a triple co-dom is a handy breeding tool. :gj:

Those baby mojos are hot too!

Hi folks! Sorry that I finally remember I had paired the Normal female to a Mojo male in the end of 2007,after paired she haven't lay any eggs until she paired with the Bumble Bee male , so is this sperm retention? If it is, is it possible to have sperm retention for this long? Thanks and sorry about mistaking.
