Axanthic Pieds OH MY!

Maybe I tricked you a bit. However, I am very excited about this clutch. This clutch is in the top five of my most anticipated clutches of the year. We bred our Pied male to an 18 month old VPI Axanthic girl, and got 5 eggs. I think that is a perfect size clutch for a double Het project (as long as I get at least one male and one female). Hopefully more like 2.3. Anyway, I know people like pics more than babble, so here it is.

Anyways, best wishes on this project. I just know that you and Monica will produce some of those beauties at some point and I can't wait to see those pics!

You might be able to beat it down, but I don't know if you would walk out with one. I could probably produce five of them, and keep them all. This is two of my favorite morphs combined (just below the True Ghost). Speaking of True Ghost, it looks like my huge DH girl is not going to go this year. She laid eggs last year, and is now over 3000 grams and decided to relax this year.

Next year Tim, next year she'll go for you and you'll finally achieve that personal dream morph. :)

I hope you are right. Actually, both of her Axanthic daughters from last year might go next year too. So, we might have a great shot at it.

Tim said his girl is a VPI axanthic.
As far as I know, just the ones produced by Mark Mandic (Markus Jayne), and another one. Mark called his the "Lightning Pied".

Congrats on the eggs, Tim. The axanthic pied is in my opinion right up there with the dreamsicle...

Thanks for all of the kind words everyone. This will definitely be a long 60 days. At least I have plenthy of clutches hatching, and more cool clutches coming between now and then, or I might go crazy. Good luck to all with there projects this year. Our exciting syuff is just starting to be laid now.
