    Champagne Ringer and Butter Spinnerblast
Brock hatched out a champagne ringer and it is one heck of a ringer! Also have a post shed pic of a killer blast and butter spinnerblast.
Sorry the picks suck, I used my wife's point and shoot.

WOW!!! One heck of a ringer is right! That thing is INSANE! Is it possible that the parents were both Het Pied? Or one of those random morphs like the Pastel that popped out of Brad's Caramel x Normal Het Caramel clutch? They're all gorgeous, but that Champagne just blows my mind! I would assume that Brock is going to hold onto that one, or is he going to let it go? Is it male or female? Thanks for the pictures, Chris!

Yeah the champagnes just seem very random. From looking at all the hatching's from last year and this year, they all look different. I'm not sure if some weird hidden genetic thing is going on or if it really is just a big time ringer.

I think Brock said that it's a female and he was planning on selling it. He thought someone would want it just because of how cool it looks.

Is he sure he should call it a ringer???
SHouldn't it be a champagne pied?
A ringer is usually id'd by a ring of white near the tail on an other wise normally colored snake, or a color morph..
OR would it be a paradox champagne pied??

Really.. no one has heard of a high white pied?

    http://www.rcreptiles.com/images/col...n/100_2286.jpg
This last one looks normal till you get to the white.
    http://imageevent.com/publicgallery/...=0&w=4&s=0&z=9

I mean we can have other color morph pied such as the spied or spider pied
    http://www.roussisreptiles.com/colle...lls/spied.html

    a Mojo Pied
    http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/s...ad.php?t=94767

I am only saying it can't be a ringer... too much white.
Why not simply call it a champagne pied??

Because you can't call something a pied unless it IS a pied.

But I agree that is one hot animal, very hard for me to call it a ringer. Perhaps there were some unknown hets with the parents floating around OR like that Pastel out of the Caramel clutch, this is a random new line of.. something. :P

Because unless it's proven genetic, it's a ringer.. I believe. Unless I'm completely wrong. I'm also pretty sure if Brock called it a ringer, it's a ringer lol

It isn't a champagne piebald because it isn't a piebald. The white has nothing to do with what morph it is, the genetics are what determine what morph it is. There are lots of ringers out there, some have more white than others, none of which are genetic though.
Until you can prove this a piebald through breeding (unlikely as I don't think Brock has a bunch of hets laying around he didn't know where hets), then it's a ringer.

If there arent any pied genetics present, then its not a pied, it doesnt matter how much white is on the snake...

Anyways, that is a stunning snake!

Thanks for the compliments everyone. The Champagne is just a ringer. She came out that way and was produced from one of my normal females. I think that the Champagne gene throws some wicked Pied type snakes! I just love it.

Re: Champagne Ringer and Butter Spinnerblast
    Wow stunning !

Ringer is something that pops here and there.

So it's either something genetic with like 3-4 gene that need to make it
    or
    it's related to the incubation

What ever, this is one hell of a ringer. I wouldn't even call it like that.

Just something crazy. May be it was just placed weird in the eggs and part of the coloration didn't make it, or something that I can't understand :) may be it will prove out one day, may be never.
