You can get big bags of aspen bedding at shows super cheap. For the water bowl it depends on what you are looking for and how big you want it to be. I get small white croc dishes from Pier One of all places for a buck each. I'm a pretty basic kinda guy, so I don't usually go for the fancy stuff.

You can get pretty cheap water bowls at pet stores or get a crock dish at the dollar store for, well a dollar.

You can get some cheap small animal aspen. I think it looks pretty nice and its like $5 a bag.

Deli cups make good bowls too. Not too heavy though, so they can be tipped. Dk about the price, either. Sorry. :(

That is what I use too but I recently saw a post about getting inkless newspaper. Does newspaper ink harm the bps?

I used to deliver newspapers when I was younger. You'd be suprised what that does to you. When you're done for the day your hands are all black because of the ink, and over time you can actually smell the ink and newspapers.

I can't imagine a snake would enjoy that too much. Inkless newspaper if at all possible. Most newspaper printers will sell you the end of the rolls for extreamly cheap because they can't use it.

The ink is made from soy and poses no threat to the animal but some people dont like the stains it leaves on lighter colored animals like albinos for example.

We have a Junk bowl cabinet and i just used whatever was available. Thats when i noticed we have like 30 coolwhip bowls. I havn't eaten coolwhip in like 20 years. So i ask my wife whats up with all the coolwhip bowls. She said she eats it instead of icecream. Its the light coolwhip. And im like 30 BOWLS?
And for the substrate you can go to a feed and grain store for horses and buy huge bags of Equine fresh for a few bucks that will last you forever.
