Clean Lucy vs High White Pied ?

Given the drop in price for clean white Blue eyed Lucy's recently. It's almost a wash when compared to high white pieds as far as price.
What would you rather have ?

I'd rather have the Lucy because of the blue eyes, and because I already have two pieds and a het pied female. So, for me, the Lucy would be something different :)

Lucy's are hot and i will own more but as you can see from my logo a pied will always be the love of Royal Morphz. Although i prefer low to mid-high whites I wouldn't turn down a high white lol.

Oh yeah, pied is my favorite morph! :) And I love the low whites, too. I just want something different... so we got to Mojos! lol

half white patched pied over a lucy any day. pieds are the reason i became interested in morphs, that'll never change.

i'd never sneeze at a lucy though ;)

i think pieds are intresting but clean lucys blue or black eyes are just stunning

I would rather have both, but Pied would be my first choice if I had to chose.

I have the pied already now all I have to get his a BEL ;)

has anyone ever made a cross of the two? are there any blue eyed lucy pieds? or blue eyed pieds? that would be my favorite for sure.

I am going to answer this as though I live in a place where I could have multiple wives and not have to pick just one...........so I choose both!!!!!!!!!!!

I have seen clean BEL for $3500, and not-so-clean ones go for around $2000.

Thanks for all the responses. I"m seeing "dirty" lucy's going for about 1700 and i just saw a lesserXmojave go for 2k and it was REAL clean and looked pure white to me. The lesser cross really cleans it up. Prices might fluctuate a little depending on the cross. 09 HW pieds are going for about 1600-2000 on line as asking price.
Depends on time of year as well. First to market gets a better price so they might drop more as more come out.

I aggree with all. They're both some of the most amazing animals on the planet. Just preference. Some don't like the all white and want some "breakup" in the paint job so to speak. But there is no denying those coral blue eyes.

While the leucistic is a very visually stunning creature, I have to say I'm more interested in piebalds. I like the shock of color on white--or the splash of white on color, the bright oranges and blacks across pearly white. It's much more appealing to me than plain white--though, I do intend to get a leucistic at some point...but I definitely want the pied first.

I don't like the "bug-eyed" syndrome that seems to occur in some BELs. I don't know whether this is a genetic problem like spider wobble or duck-billed super cinnies, or an optical illusion. Hence, my vote goes to Pied.

Pied.. All day..the visual apeal of a pied is unmatched by a BEL to me. As is the combo potentional.

I think Ralph Davis produced one. I believe its still on his youtube page.

I much would prefer a BEL over a high-white pied, I prefer 40% white-pieds just because they still have a pattern but if there only is like 10% of pattern left whats the use you might as well just got a full white snake.

Ok maybe I repeat myself but if we talking about whole white snakes I fall in love in graphites just pure white with this like ash touch there are fracking awesome !!!
But I don't discredit pieds

Definitely a lucy, as I've been drooling over those since the first time I saw one... I dream of making/owning my own eventually. I certainly wouldn't sneeze at a nice pied, though! :gj: I like them kind of "mid-white" - just enough to look dramatic, without being mistaken for an ivory/lucy.
