    BP survey! Fun(:
Just a little survey that I thought would be fun, rather than you guys answering some serious questions which seem to be on a daily basis. Here's a fun question, or questions, to answer!

    1) What was your first BP morph?
    2) Do you enjoy keeping/owning a BP?
    3) What is your favorite thing about a BP?
    4) What is your favorite BP morph?
    5) Do make your BP enclosure(s) really cool, or basic?
    6) Where did you purchase your first BP?
    7) How did you get into owning them?
    8) If you breed BPs, what is your favorite part during the entire process?
    9) Have you ever been to a reptile expo, and if so, how many and did you enjoy it?
    10) What do you think of this survey? (EXAMPLE: Fun, entertaining, boring, dumb, etc.?)

    9) I've been to one, and it was amazing. Purchased my very first boa constrictor, the Dumeril's boa. I very much enjoyed the show! It was exciting!
    10) Fun and entertaining, since I have nothing else to do! LOL!

    1) What was your first BP morph?
    - Pastel

    2) Do you enjoy keeping/owning a BP?
    - Of course!

    3) What is your favorite thing about a BP?
    - Hard to choose just one... I love their docile natures and size, as well as how many morphs can be produced.

    4) What is your favorite BP morph?
    - Again hard to choose just one haha. I am really fond of Sterling Pastels and that'll be my first project next season.

    5) Do you make your BP enclosure(s) really cool, or basic?
    - I have one snake in a nice enclosure, the rest will go in tubs.

    6) Where did you purchase your first BP?
    - From a breeder. Drove 6 hours for him. :)

    7) How did you get into owning them?
    - I work at a Pet Store and was fascinated by the reptiles they have there, especially the BP's. I did some research and am very glad I've gotten into the herp world.

    8) If you breed BPs, what is your favorite part during the entire process?
    - I don't breed, but I know my favorite parts will be selecting which BP's to pair, and of course seeing what morphs pop out when they hatch.

    9) Have you ever been to a reptile expo, and if so, how many and did you enjoy it?
    - Never have been, I missed a good one due to no funds but I know I will love the next one I plan on going to in November. I'll definitely not walk out empty handed.

    10) What do you think of this survey? (EXAMPLE: Fun, entertaining, boring, dumb, etc.?)
    - It's something to do, entertaining. :D

Thanks for doing the survey! Oh and what reptile expo are you going to in November? I'm going to the Phoenix Reptile Expo in November on the 14th-15th which I think will be interesting. I'm sure not going out empty handed either haha, I'm hoping to get a nice lookin' Spider male to breed with my normal female! Can't wait!:D

Oh that's really cool that you get to be a vendor! What reptiles do you usually sell at your table? Once I start breeding Ball pythons I will definitely try to be in the reptile shows that are near me.

    1) What was your first BP morph?

    Pastel

    2) Do you enjoy keeping/owning a BP?

More than anything in the world. Nothing makes me happier than a perfect shed or a no-hesitation feeding response.

    3) What is your favorite thing about a BP?

How docile they are, how easy it is to handle them and how rewarding it is to take care of them.

    4) What is your favorite BP morph?

Tough, but lavender albinos, caramel glows and Orange Ghosts are my fascination lately.

    5) Do make your BP enclosure(s) really cool, or basic?

    Basic.

    6) Where did you purchase your first BP?

    Local classified.

    7) How did you get into owning them?

Always wanted a snake, couldnt have one and live in my dad's house. When I got my own place, first thing I got was a snake.

    8) If you breed BPs, what is your favorite part during the entire process?

So far, the lock. Later on probably hatching out living art.

    9) Have you ever been to a reptile expo, and if so, how many and did you enjoy it?

First one on Saturday in San Diego, and I loved it! Very informational and great to see different morphs in person because a picture, no matter how good, will never do a morph justice.

    10) What do you think of this survey? (EXAMPLE: Fun, entertaining, boring, dumb, etc.?)

You have a lot of free time lol. :P

    1) What was your first BP morph?
A rescued 'free' pastel. First BP was a normal. :)

    2) Do you enjoy keeping/owning a BP?
    More than anything.

    3) What is your favorite thing about a BP?
Just one?? They're beautiful, basically calm, and have very distinct personalities.

    4) What is your favorite BP morph?
    BumbleBee!!!

    5) Do make your BP enclosure(s) really cool, or basic?
Considering the fact that I make the enclosures myself...:D

    6) Where did you purchase your first BP?
Didn't purchase. I traded an unruly bearded dragon for her. :) But I got her at the local Scales N Tails store

    7) How did you get into owning them?
Always wanted to after working with one at the zoo. Finally got my chance to own one and ran with it.

    8) If you breed BPs, what is your favorite part during the entire process?
I don't breed yet - the girls are too small. But when I do, I know it will be that first glimpse of what the eggs hold. :)

    9) Have you ever been to a reptile expo, and if so, how many and did you enjoy it?
I go to the RMRE every single time. :D I love it, even when I'm not there to buy an animal. In the future, I hope to get a booth for selling my reptile cages.

    Re: BP survey! Fun(:
At this pont the answers are probably getting old lol. but sounds fun to me.

    1) What was your first BP morph?
Super Lemon Pastel (bell line) (the only one I have actually)
    2) Do you enjoy keeping/owning a BP?
Of course, why would I keep him?
    3) What is your favorite thing about a BP?
    A) He's super easy to care for, and I can handle him as little or as much as I do, and B) He sticks his head out of the hut and kinda waits (chuck norris style) for prey to walk by, so I actually get to see him
    4) What is your favorite BP morph?
Too many, to startL: But probably a Super Phantom, or a Piebald (any variation of piebalds are just good)
    5) Do make your BP enclosure(s) really cool, or basic?
I'd say in between, a tank with background around the back and sides, with 2 "rock" huts, a big fish ornament with holes so he can slither through and up, and a piece of driftwood leaning against that in the middle, in case he becomes arborial (still waiting on that)
    6) Where did you purchase your first BP?
    Reptile Show in Manchester, NH
    7) How did you get into owning them?
My brother had 3, and has since got 2, so he wanted me to go up, and I found a goodie
    8) If you breed BPs, what is your favorite part during the entire process?
Let me answer this next year, hopefully Lucifer gets to breeding weight, by then, and we'll have some lemon pastels
    9) Have you ever been to a reptile expo, and if so, how many and did you enjoy it?
1, and Yes I did, I can't wait for October to go to it again
    10) What do you think of this survey? (EXAMPLE: Fun, entertaining, boring, dumb, etc.?)
Entertaining for me, I didn't read other's posts before doing mine, so should be fun

    Re: BP survey! Fun(:
    1) My first morph (second BP) was a pastel male... others are normals, but I'm hoping to add another morph male soon.
    2) Love it!! I've had them since February, and already totally addicted. :D
    3) Their sheer aesthetic beauty, and variety of colors & patterns... I also love how easygoing and sweet most of them are.
    4) Of the ones I could afford in the near future, probably mojaves and albinos. My dream snake, however, would be something like this (a "Killer Clown"): http://www.ballpython.com/kingsnake/killerclown_lg.jpg Yowza!!
    5) They aren't REALLY cool, but not basic either - I try to use natural-looking accessories like rock caves, fake plants, branches, and cool backgrounds.
    6) East Bay Vivarium in Berkeley, CA. Great folks!
    7) Always wanted a snake, but never got around to really thinking about it... until a guy from EBV visited the library I used to manage, to do a program for the children. I talked with him after the program, and he convinced me to come by the viv for more information - six months later I finally made it over there, and came home with Delilah a week after that.
    8) Haven't bred yet, but I am planning to start next season.
    9) So far just one, in Daly City (Cow Palace) last month... it was cool but fairly small, although I did get my sweet Toby (pastel) while there. Also planning to attend the show in San Jose next month!
    10) Fun! :gj:
