Re: is this a yellow belly?????????
CAnt tell from the pic. Yellowbellies arent a color morph its more of a pattern difference. I see the spot on the head and the flames but can't say for sure. I like all your animal's names thats freaking hilarious.

Hard to tell if it's a yellowbelly without an actual belly shot.

x2...Show da belly!
Re: is this a yellow belly?????????
The pattern is very similar to mine, so I would say yes from the pattern, but without a belly shot its kinda hard to determine.
Re: is this a yellow belly?????????
Need a good belly shot, especially toward the vent. I'll post a belly shot of mine to compare to.

There is a lot of variability in yellow bellies but that checkered like pattern running down the sides of the belly is a good indicator.

Sounds like he knew it was a YB, but he thought there might be something different going on with it is all.

To me, YBs have this pixelated look to their scales. The CH baby does not have this, so until you breed it, it's not a YB, just a dinker.
The OP's snake is a YB. Lots of flames, blushing, pixels in the flames, nice checkered belly edges.

yes i knew it was a yb but i think somethings going on since its jet black and a gold color there is no burgundy except the head.
Re: is this a yellow belly?????????
What does burgundy coloration have to do with anything? A Yellowbelly AKA Het Ivory, can look like a normal wild-type Ball Python, minus the checker pattern on the outside edges of the belly. Or they can have wild patterns with the checker pattern going from the belly up on the sides. They are very variable. Even some proven Het Ivories are poor examples of the morph. It all depends on selective breeding.

I think your over-reading the pictures.. they look rather dark, so I doubt the colors are all that true or the snake is really that dark. Especially if you look at the lighting with the hand in the picture.
Re: is this a yellow belly?????????
its my snake and a 3.2megapixel camera ill try to take pics with my gf's camera tomorrow its literallly black with gold i kid you not its colors look like the saints nfl jersey
