Transformer fans????

Anyone seen the new movie? If so what did you think of it?

Great movie very funny and action packed.

lots and lots of fighting robots. seems like the action to story line ratio was off, but it was still good. i love some of the fight scenes and the new robots.

I loved all the action. The movie rocked.

I loved the action and how funny it was in some parts. I couldnt stop laughing when his mom got high at the college lol. And the new robots were awesome. I loved the motorcycle autobots

But yeah great movie.

I hate how people are making a big deal over the twins though. They are saying it is racist. I think the people the believe that are the racist ones.

I loved the twins they were funny

I was expecting the twins to get killed right off the bat. But when one was about to get eaten he ripped the big dudes face off. Tough little guys.

I haven't seen it yet, but I heard it was really good, so I won't read any of the posts that talk about the movie so it doesn't spoil it for me. One thing I did hear a lot was that Megan Fox looked hotter then ever.

Megan fox is the money maker for transformers lol. You should of heard all the people the moment it showed her every guy in there was howling

I'm sure they were, she's one of the hottest actresses out there today.

It had good fight scenes, but this was the most inconsistent movie ever. Various plot holes and a lot of scenes didn't make any sense. They also could've done without the twins. Worse part of the movie IMO.

Time to nerd-out:

So all the constructicons are needed to form devastator. How the hell is this possible if demolisher was killed in the first 10 minutes of this movie? Also, when they combine and transform into devastator why are longhaul, mixmaster, and rampage still being shown fighting the humans in the little town?! Did bay find out how to clone transformers? What's going on here?!

P.S. Soundwave with no vocoder voice and sam in robot heaven?! UGGHH....

I was disapointed in the movie, for a lot of the reasons listed by the previous poster.

Not to mention they don't even bother to introduce you to any of the new transformers? What the heck?

Hated the twins, and they were pretty much the only autobots you got to spend time with.

The movie was all about "how many robot fights can we fit in 2 and a half hours"

I will buy it when it comes out, but it was still disapointing to me.

I came home and watched the first one and it made me feel better. :)

I agree about the twins. I hate when people play the race card like that.

The movie had a good chunk of plot holes though. Don't see how anyone can argue against that.

I think they definately left it open for another one.... It was a good movie and definately one I would watch again and purchase when it comes out on dvd. Definately ranks in my top 5 this year so far:D

God I want to see it so badly! Who ever has seen it is so lucky

That's all I want from a SEQUEL to a live-action transformers movie.

Hey I hear ya! The fight scenes were well done and exciting. I just made the mistake of expecting a masterpiece like the first. :P

Loved it, and I may do the unthinkable, and see it again in theaters. :D

my take on the movie was that overall it was a vast improvement over the first movie. Michael Bay got a clue and zoomed out during combat so you can actually see who is fighting who. Because of this, the action was very fun to watch and there was a LOT of it to enjoy. Yeah it was campy and had some plot holes, but so did the original G1 movie. I felt it stayed pretty true to the material in how it felt and i really liked how they integrated the military into it. It made it feel like i was watching a GI Joe/Transformers crossover movie in a lot of places.

As someone who watched the original in theaters way back in 1986, i had a serious Deja Vu moment.

overall i'd rank it 3rd for movies i've seen this year.

3. Transformers 2
4. Terminator: Salvation

Edit: got cut off somehow... anyway, it will be interesting to see who they get to do the 3rd movie, as Bay has said he won't do it.

I uh...I slept...through it..kinda.

I hate people that go to see this movie that leave complaining about story and plot holes.

This movie is made for non-stop action ... and that is it. Bay spent so much on CGI he couldn't afford good writers, great actors, and apparently had to budget cut on wardrobe for Megan Fox.

I thought it was fantastic. I think everyone forgets this was based off a children's cartoon that was created for the sole purpose of selling toys. I've seen it twice (once for free).

Absolutely... I agreed with many of the flaws and I was laughing my butt off while reading that, but still a fun movie.

I was SO hoping for an Empire strikes back, crap outta luck ending, but didnt get that. Instead I got junk. Skids and mudflap are about as cool as jar jar binks, devastator was just dumb, and I cant believe that " the legend" Jetfire was a 20 yr old jet. According to roller ( the perverted RC truck) that guy was ancient, a legend. I was very unhappy with it, but I went in with very high hopes looking for some classic trilogy action. I should have known bay couldnt do 2 good movies in a row. The CGI was top notch, and you probobly wont get motion sickness watching this one since the shots are zoomed out a bit.

SR-71's are 45 years old, and the transformers can change their appearance so it's likely his last "change" was the SR-71.

I liked the movie could of been better with the plot blah blah blah, but I got to see robots fight I could not of been happier :salute:

I know they remorph or whatever, but I still felt it was lame

The Blackbird SR-71 is still the fastest plane ever built.

I've seen the one that was used in the film "I Am Legend" in person.. Absolutely my favorite airplane ever.

I saw it again today, and I tell ya, it was even better the second time around. :D

its one heck of a piece of machinery. Granted it leaks fuel like a sieve until it heats up and the seals expand, but i still love it. one of the first model airplanes i built myself was a blackbird.

It was one of the best movies. I loved the twins. I couldn't stop laughing.

I think I'm with everyone else on this one XD LOVED the movie because of all the awesome action! but was still disappointed by some parts of it. It's a movie that I could nitpick over for several more paragraphs... but I've seen it twice already (hoping for a third and fourth) so obviously I enjoyed it, flaws and all.
Some days I just really need two hours of giant robots smashing each other up, haha ;D

I do so wish we could have seen more of the new autobots... especially Sideswipe and Jolt.
