Euthanize the idiots!
I get sick and tired of hearing stories like this. I have ZERO compassion for fine specimens of the human race such as these folks...
http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=6932055
Let's see....fighting in front of kids, a man beating on a woman, dogs being used instead of just loved and cared for...I thought SLC was a nice place to live.

And that it may. It depends on how much you pay attention to the news. No matter where you go the local news will always have stories, and they have to come from somewhere and play the same amount of time. Though they do a story in one city about 5 murders it seems more shocking because it doesn't happen as often, though 5 murders in another city happens more frequently it is also shown on the news maybe that one time as a shocking thing.
I live in a very rich and snobbish town. Very conservative people (a lot of older folks) and very very little race and culture diversity.
I know the news is packed with crazy things happening in our town, because I see it on the news that my friends parents always watch. I never hear of it because I have no TV or newspaper subscription. The house is quieter, and theres less negativity. I sure like it that way. :gj:
Anyway, on the original subject (and not me rambling about nothing) those people were terrible to use dogs for such an evil cause. It's a shame that those dogs will have to be put down now due to such terrible ownership.

The thing is, the murders that have been reported around here lately HAVE been shocking. In NY, people get shot/stabbed/mugged whatever. Here there was a story of some kids shooting some other kid execution like on a golf course, similar to that Alpha dog movie. Or some teen killed his neighbor with a baseball bat for drug money in a nice residential neighborhood. The desert heat and the overall boredom just lead to some sick people. Not to mention guns are available at Walmart.
But yeah back to the topic lol...stupid A dash S dash 5 people...that's why I choose animals over humans.

She says that started a yelling match, which got physical. "She pushed me twice, and then she started swinging at me, and that's when we started fighting," Latoyia said. She says the woman's boyfriend joined in, hitting Latoyia's elbow and side with a metal bed rail. Then the woman ordered her pit bulls to attack.

"The owner crossed the line when she called her dogs into the fight," said Gary Keller, spokesman for the South Salt Lake Police Department.
So 2 people fighting against one, and one of those 2 people using a metal bed rail, is just fine. They only "crossed the line" when the dogs got called in?

Re: Euthanize the idiots!
I can't stand people who use their dogs as weapons.. I would be a hypocrite if i said run and attack shouldnt be allowed, b/c my dogs have done schutzhund training, but they were also trained to do it only on command, and for the sport of it, not to use as a weapon... And what kind of Guy Hits a girl? And with a Bedrail??? I have a name for those guys.. It starts with a P, you get what im saying... And i mean, just look at the dogs owners! Im soo glad they've been arrested.. I would love to see what kind of penalty they get... I really hope they DONT get the death penalty tho....... Its Not right...... Why should they get the easy way out?

Re: Euthanize the idiots!
Some dogs will attack if their owner is in distress. Growing up, I had a siberian husky which I loved dearly, when me and my neighbor got in a fight after a football game, and him & his buddy jumped on me, my dog went after one of the people, I never told him to or anything, even though I really didn't need him to jump in because i've beat my neighbors face in before. lol

Her dogs have a history, according to the report, and she was asked to put them on a lead.

That's a terrible story, involving some sick people.

The same laws and regulations that apply at any gun or sporting goods store also apply at Walmart. The story you posted displays that guns aren't the problem, sick people are the problem. They used metal bed posts and dogs to assault the lady. The mention of guns being sold at Walmart has no relevance here, or anywhere, really. I'm in IL, where guns are not sold at Walmart, and you can believe me when I say that Walmart not selling guns does nothing to thwart gun violence, and if they did sell guns, the gun crime statistics wouldn't change.

Oh I am not linking this to guns in anyway, the gun comment was made in my post/response regarding just how wrong about this place (SLC) I was. The guns in WalMart statement refers more to the fact that once youre of age, you can walk out with a rifle/shotgun within minutes and legally, meaning more people have em. I dont know the stats, but I think that in a place where guns are more readily accessible you might see more gun crime.
