    Goldfinger project clutch 1
It feels like I've been waiting forever to see these guys hatch, and they are now all out of the egg. Lustro, Spaniard's male has been proven to carry the Goldfinger gene, as well as a couple other surprises.

    Here are the pics.

First four out, There's the Goldfinger pastel!!...and an interesting head pattern.

6 out...seems there is something else going on
    http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/k...9/DSC_0074.jpg

    "normal" normal, and reduced normal.
    http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/k...9/DSC_0059.jpg

    Are these really all siblings?

    can't wait until she sheds!

Not a bad first clutch of the year. One more Lustro clutch to hatch next week, and I can't wait!!!

Wow they look amazing. That head pattern looks so clown like. So whats the genetics on the goldfingers? They are sweet:gj:

I cant help but think of the old James Bond theme song from Goldfinger.

I couldn't be happier with the results of this clutch. It was a pleasure doing this loan with you. But how could you not be as happy as a dancing banana with babies that look like that!

Those are simply stunning! Some of them make me think of the Circus Ball...the one with the mysterious het-clown gene expressing in unexpected ways. The body patterns don't really match up, but the head patterns are just like it. Any chance there's a little het-clown floating around in that clutch? :P

Whatever is going on...it sure is beautiful and exciting! Please don't forget to come back and share post-shed pics and growing-up pics! (As if Rich would let you forget! :D )

Mom was a normal; you can read the background story at Evan's site.

    http://www.blacklotusreptiles.com/co...oldfinger.html

My pastel sired the clutch, I had originally purchased him from Evan a few years ago and was contacted about doing a breeding loan after the first goldfingers hatched out. So this pairing was Mother (normal het GF) x Son (Pastel het GF)

Thanks everyone! I have been so anxious this season to see what ends up popping out of those eggs, and I the result was just what I had hoped for.

I cant help but think of the old James Bond theme song from Goldfinger.

The reduced head pattern may be simple inheritance, it seems possible at this point.

We had another clutch from the line hatch this week from the original GF sire to a normal sib, and no goldfingers or head patterns. One more clutch to go, Lustro x GF line pastel. That should answer some questions...hopefully.

Thanks Judy, I will definitely be posting more shots soon. As for the head/neck pattern, no het clown that I know of. Both parents have somewhat reduced head/necks, but not to that extent, and it seems the babies have it or they don't.

This has made my favorite season yet, and there is still plenty left!

The Pastel Goldfinger looks like a Super Pastel Orange Ghost. At first I thought it was a super pastel but it seems like that's not the case. It's interesting how the "normals" have odd patterns. This looks like such an awesome project, how long before you start selling them or have you already?
