Keep it where it is for now.
People aren't buying yet... And remember that money is tight for many more people right now.
Be patient.
Re: are my prices too high?
I'm just getting frustrated. I wish that prices were more standard for the morphs instead of just dropping 50% in a year.
Re: are my prices too high?
bad economy and basement breeders, maybe they are hurtin too so they gotta drop the price low. patience is a virtue and always remember the market like life is never stable so what goes up must come down and what came down has to go up.
Re: are my prices too high?
I look at it like this.. if it don't sale so be it I can use it..
Re: are my prices too high?
thanks everyone I just needed a pep talk. I never wanted to be "that guy" that drops my prices and causes everyone else to lose out.
Re: are my prices too high?
I'll even steer clear of prices on animals that are too low, or too good of a deal.
Perhaps the right person just hasn't seen your ad yet:D
Re: are my prices too high?
I don't want to come off sounding too harsh, but are you serious? You've only had them up for three weeks and you want to drop the price on them? Three weeks is NOTHING. It takes 3 times that just to incubate eggs. Have a little patience and you can get what you want for them. :gj:
Re: are my prices too high?
This is normally a slow time for sales things will pick back up in September.

I agree. Keep them at your price. Someone will buy them.
On a side note, I hate when people post snakes, then 3 days later drop prices and 3 days after that they use up their 2 replys and drop prices again. People are treating BP sales like they would a garage sale.

That's exactly what I was getting at! You can't expect to sell something the instant you put it up for sale. If it does, chances are your price was too low to begin with. It's not like snakes have an expiration date that you HAVE to sell by.
Re: are my prices too high?
Many people have invested a lot of money in their collections and pretty much killed it themselves being impatient and cutting each others throats on pricing to make a quick sale. Be patient if you can't get a fair price quick enough think about making a fair trade or just hang tight it will sell.
Re: are my prices too high?
I think right now a lot of buyers are waiting to see what hatches and where prices go once most everything has hatched for this year.
Also, I think what everyone else said about being patient is good advice. For one thing, as long as you keep running the ad, you are building your name recognition. That's a good thing! Also, when I browse some of the websites of some of the members here I really respect, most of them still have some leftover '08s available. So I don't think there is anything wrong with having some snakes that don't sell right away.
If you are really concerned, I'd look for more ways to get more people looking at my ad(s), such as finding other sites where you can advertise, rather than lowering the prices so soon.
