Re: BP whith Broken nose?!
Not really worried about spelling ATM sorry guys.. My baby girl is a bit more important
Re: BP whith Broken nose?!
Have you taken her out to get a closer look? Is it possible that maybe it's just folded back and will return normal with everyday activity?

Yeah I take them out to inspect them and let them roam everyday but just the extent of the smoosh freaked me out. She is still using her tongue and being a curious little girl like always but one side of her snout just isn't right... I put a light blanket over her cage because I think it was from her trying to get out of her tub. I'm moving her to the new house tomorrow because the heat at the old house is unbearable and I have been back and forth trying to get the air to turn on in the old place. I think she and Ki over heated a tad today ( thermostats memory says it got up to 99 degrees in their tubs today because of the heat from the room itself. They are going to be kept in our basement at the new house to ensure that they are kept at the right temps. I never have an issue with it getting too cold... My issues are with the heat. But that will all change after they are settled in the new house.

And the reason I mentioned putting a light blanket on her tub is to calm her down and to make her feel more secure.
Re: BP whith Broken nose?!
I have had something similar happen to one of my balls. When investigated I found that it was actually a pressure mark.
Turns out the my ball had her face pressed very hard against the entrance to her hide when she crammed herself in, and being in that position for hours meant that her face was deformed for a few hours, the mark eventually worked itself away.
Could this possibly have happened to yours?

Haha, like when you sleep on something very textured and it imprints your face for a while, lol.
Re: BP whith Broken nose?!
I had something sort of similar happen to one of mine. She hurt herself by hitting the edge of the cage when striking. In about 48 hours, it had returned to normal. Here is the thread about it:

Of course, without pics, I can't really know how similar the situation with your snake is.
Re: BP whith Broken nose?!
Without pictures, we're all just guessing, but it sounds like something that happened to mine once. I'd had her out and handling her for awhile and she seemed fine. The next time I looked at her, one lip was all smooshed up and you could see her teeth. I freaked out...took pictures and called Adam (of 8ballpythons). He remained totally calm, of course. Said that maybe she'd caught her lip on a tooth while yawning or something. By the next day, everything was back to normal. Never did figure out exactly what it was she'd done to herself...but it didn't seem to bother her and was fine within a day.
Re: BP whith Broken nose?!
>< if i found a piece of aspen on my bp, i would think hes feelin insecure and i would freak out! GL to ur baby
Re: BP whith Broken nose?!
<_< yeah... heh.. she is fine! I went to the vet in tears and she said that it was kinda like if I had tight jeans on that it would indent in my skin. I felt really really stupid for bawling my eyes out but it looked REALLY weird! All my friends had the same reaction I did. They all looked at her, then did a double take when they saw her face and as if scripted said " OMG CALI!!! Whats wrong with your snout!" ( I love my friends cause they also view my snakes as my children so they are all like aunts and uncles) I have never ever seen this before but I'm so glad that if I do again that there isn't anything to worry about. The vet says that Cali looks great but is a tad on the small side ( she was always tiny but is a fussy eater gone superbeast now) She is gaining weight and as soon as I get them moved over into the new house I can start taking records. Thanks for the support guys! I have crazy mothering instincts so when my baby is hurt I go bonkers

Another mystery solved:gj:
Re: BP whith Broken nose?!
Shoot I had a scare last week after feeding my girl she yawned but realignment didnt happen. Her lower jaw, left side stayed in the position it was from the yawn and her other half went back to normal. I almost pooped when I saw that her mouth was out of wack, and she was just cruising after the next mouse lookin like a scooper. She struck him with her lower jaw half hanging down, killed him, ate him, looked at me and gave me a knowing tongue flick followed by a yawwwwwwwwwn and then she took her pretty little snout and crawled into her hide. Crisis averted.
Re: BP whith Broken nose?!
 snakes with pillow marks... I'll definitely file that away for future reference...
At least your baby is ok...
