Awesome hamburg show

I had a great time at the hamburg,pa. show yesterday! Did anybody else go?

I picked up:
0.2 normals
2.0 black pastels
1.0 orange ghost
1.0 fire BHB

I will have pics as soon as they are settled in

I was there and picked up a Reptile Basics rack and really wanted to grab a few snakes from BHB but I didn't have enough money.

My Kingdom to live close to reptile shows!:)

How much did that run you?

Was brian there? and the crew?

Well i paid $1,100 for everything and that includes a ton of rats.

Brian and lori were there and he was more than happy to show me a bunch of his snakes like the camo, pieds, super pastels........! He was super cool but i didnt see the rest of the crew. Hopefully next time.

Thats a great price, especially considering I'd pay top dollar knowing its from them.

I went there in the last hour and a half and people were giving out crazy deals and its even better because i didnt have to wait in line and the place was half empty.

I too was there and picked up 2 RB racks from Rich. I also picked up my 1st Borneo from Philly Herpetoculture.

I saw some amazing bloods at the show.
Already cant wait til the next one.

Hey quick question ... Was it crazy like last time? Was there any rooom to walk and how was the parking... I went to the last show and there was a cop handing out tickets like crazy!

It was much less crowded that last time. Def. room to walk. Line to get in wasn't too bad either. So nice. Same vendors 40% less people. The first shows of the year are always crazy crowded. Awesome show. Wish we had a show like that here in Jersey. Too much legislation in this state...

I'm from Jersey too and I wish there was a good show here in Jersey too! Do you know what the closest " Big " show is? Like down in FL, and out in CA they have huge shows with breeders like Bob Clark and RDR. Do we have anything that compares to that or is Hamburg the best we got on the East coast?

If you are not into giant constrictors and venomous animals, White plains isn't too bad IMO!

<-- Is fond of the White Plains show as well . . . which may have something to do with the fact that it's a half hour from my front door . . . .

<-- Is also considering the purchase of additional blood pythons. Details, man - details!!

All these beautiful snakes and nobody thought to bring a camera?! What's up with that?!?

So, do you think it's better to go the second day for the better deals? But then aren't the best animals going to be gone?

I'm going to the Sept Sac expo; wondering which day to go. :confused:

I depends what you are looking for, sometimes i find hidden gems at the end of the day for great prices.

Yeah,too many laws in this state. White plains is pretty good. Hamburg has a real "underground" kinda feel which is kinda cool and theres more crazy stuff at hamburg.
I though about making a trip down to daytona this year, but we'll see.

no kidding!! god I've seen so many fellow people living in minnesota complain about the lack of reptile shows. The closest I know of are in Chicago, and that's not exactly an easy day-trip to drive out, hit a show, and drive back.
