Enchis are a really great morph. As for what you should go for, I say get what you like. I'm sure you will see some great Enchi pics soon enough. I'm sure Robin (Rabernet) will post one if we ask nicely;)

I absolutely love the enchi morph - maybe not so much by itself, but when added to other things, it's just amazing. The super enchi is incredible as well. As far as what you should get, only you can make that decision. This is your hobby, you're the one that has to look at and care for the animals - so whatever you decide to get, make sure it's something you will enjoy having in your collection.

I have 1.1 enchis, and they are hands down one of my favorites and they make great combos. And normals and pastels are perfect to add an enchi to.

They really are "see to believe" morph. They look good in pics, but they are just beautiful in person. Great subtleties and nuances. They get places where they are almost a sepia color (where other mortphs would be faded black) where they blush.

You could get a male and produce more with your normals, and hope for a girl. Or get a 1.1 pair and then your girl will be up to breed 1-2 years earlier then any you may hatch out.

Mine was worth every cent I paid. Got them from Jason L at Capital City Gheckos in Ottawa/

So can someone explain the key differences between the Enchis and Pastels, possibly if you have one next to the other in a photo that would be great too.

Wow Hogboy - you have some NICE enchi's!

I always say that there are enchi's and then there are ENCHI's - and it's nice to see some ENCHI's in this thread - nice representations!

Here's a few pictures of my girl, Madison:

And the photo that inspired my logo/avatar:

Here's a couple lemon pastel pictures for comparison. Enchi's used to be called Enchi pastels, but they are not compatible with other pastel lines, and the pastel moniker has been largely dropped.

    My breeder male, Winston:

    His daughter, Libra:

You can see more pictures of all of them on my website (from my banner sig).

What are the signs that an enchi will hold its color?
