    Im in love - questions...
I "ran into" a lavender albino king snake today.... a baby one...
and I couldnt stop oogling for a good 30 minutes...:rolleye2:

Pretty decent temperment (bit when you first took it out of its cage, but after it was in your hands was a total sweetie pie).
I know she/he is eating pinkie mice and good at it LOL...
Not sure if it's a female or male, not really too concerned about that though.

I know nothing about king snakes though...

So I am curious what is a "fair" price for a snake like this..
From what I gather they are a pretty good snake if you like to handle them, as long as you get them going young... is this true?
I have a good grip on what it needs as far as living environment, but Im sure I could use some schooling there LOL (always willing to learn)

    TIA (thanks in advance)

    ~Una :)

Where would I find the caresheet for it? The only one I saw in here was for a Honduran Milksnake :D

    Thanks :)

A lavender will run you about $50 at shows and remember lavender king and albino king are not the same, just like Albino BP are not the same as Lavender Albino BP.

Some people sell Albinos as Lavender which I have seen happen a few time.
Kings are great snakes, they move fast so it definitely makes the handling experience a little more challenging than what you experience with a BP.

Young individuals tend to musk but grow out of it fairly quick.

They are hardy snakes and very easy to care for, they will be much more forgiven than BP if you have husbandry issues.

As for feeding, they will eat anything they are far from being picky.

Just a small contention, some kings can be very picky as anyone who has raised GBKs will tell you :) But by and large, yeah, they are garbage disposals.

Yeah, they can be picky. Mine will refuse food sometimes. But he is easy as the day is long to care for. When he is hungry, the show is good :gj:

He has never bitten me or anyone else, and I don't hesitate to let people who are scared of snakes hold him. They react the same way every time, "I want a snake now" and I think ha,ha, gotcha hooked now
