magic in 4....i just got a wierd feeling thier going to light the lakers up from the 3,and put them in a tailspin from the begining,and we will witness kobe cry as he relises,,,,hes the only guy out there....

Howard won't be on Kobe - he doesn't defend well outside the paint; plus he'll have his hands full with Gasol and Bynum. I don't think the Magic have a good answer for Kobe. Not sure the Lakers have an answer for Howard other to get him into foul trouble early.

Well thats not what I mean. I know he won't guard him. But everyone who says lakers will win seem to reference Kobe so I'm just saying. But I guess we'll see. The finals start tonight!

:8::8::8: You mean the 2 softest big men in the L. Gasol is a good offensive player, but beyond that he's about worthless and I think I would take Michael Olowokandi over Bynum. There's all this talk about how good he is, but he has yet to prove squat. Dwight, Hedo, Shard & crew in 5 and look for Dhow to have a few 20-20 games in this series

...eh....18 of Kobes 40 came in the paint, 10 of the 18 were layups. Isn't that the approximate vicinity that Howard defends?

Like I said, Magic don't have an answer for Kobe. Lakers in 6, though if they win game 2 then Lakers in 5.

thing is,,,they had an answer for him twice in the regular season,,yeah different ball of wax here,but ocne they catch thier bearings,and calm down some,and shut down kobe,LA is done,,period,once they can contain mr.bryant,thier offense will be dead in the water,,,

Problem is that Orlando's offense has been struggling, especially in the 3 pt range. Even if they do shut down Kobe (unlikely), if they can't hit those jumpers, it won't matter, Lakers will still win.

Typing shutting down Kobe and doing it are two very different things. You are lucky if you can slow him down.

The biggest advantage the Lakers have is experience. Orlando has great talent but they have never been this far (current team) and it showed in game 1.

Still much basketball to play but they did look green last night.

meh...I dont think he will get 32 in game 3 either. They always play as if another team when they are away from home.

I am for the Lakers, but I see the Magic taking this one tonight...at least it will make it a series.
