What do you do for a Job?

As we all share the same passion for herps, I got to thinking, what do you do for a living?

I have seen a few interesting posts on here about professions.

So if ya wish, please share what your profession is. :)

I work at a 4 person company that does the whole shebang from design to production of interfaces for point-of-sale systems.

I focus on embedded programming, mostly we deal with equipment in check-out lanes at retail stores.

mechanical engineer

I was an MP in the Army, then an OTR trucker. Now, I hold the couch down at home. :D

I am a nurse & electrician

I'm a professional body piercer of 9 years and I also currently manage the tattoo shop I work at. At night I do event security consulting for a friends security company (he basically pays me to go checkup on his employees at bars and to check out new bars)

Union Carpenter

I work for Caterpillar UK, Logistics division.

Currently Im doing Web and Graphic Design.

marine invertebrate taxonomist

Audio Engineer/Stage Tech. I set up concerts, productions, and mix bands.

IT Tech ...

I'm in grad school and work part-time doing residential onsite consultations on designing and installing raingardens. I also put on community raingarden workshops for the same organization.

I am also a CAD/Sketchup monkey for an architecture firm who specialize in hotel designs.

I used to do CAD work too.

Soon as I graduated though, I was done! LOL

A bit of rivalry, I like! Hows business looking for your lot pal. We're getting things tight at the minute. Going onto reduced hours from next week.

Law Firm Administrator/Accountant

I don't have a profession. I am a stay at home mom.

I work for the phone company, troubleshooting DSL switches and broadband circuits.

Undergraduate Student Biology Major/ROTC Cadet

Currently unemployed for part-time, I can't seem to find a job anywhere.

No fancy title. But I work for Herff Jones, Inc which is a company who makes things from Caps & Gowns, Diplomas, Graduation stuff, Jewelry, Photography, Education items, and Yearbooks. The plant I work for is a yearbook plant. Pretty neat work.

I am a quality control guy for a precast concrete company. Tough work... 13 hour days, 6 days a week, but pays me enough to afford more BP's so I can't complain. Plus, I shouldn't be upset with over time when I am lucky to have a job at all with the way the economy is.

Good for you... My wife works on sundays and I am home with a 3 year old and 2 year old twins, all boys... I don't know how you women do it!

Yeah we have been really slow for tha past year. We cut our hours back in January. But I am sure it will get a bit better soon.

I am in charge of the warehouse at the fresno grizzles baseball stadium, and also at fresno state bulldog football, baseball and softball stadiums. Not glamourous job but it is what it is.:weirdface

I'm still in school, but I'm really into medicine. I'm shooting for a cardiac surgeon, but... well, you know how that is.

I work for Mars Pet Care as a packaging team leader. I work the graveyard shift. Me and my BPs have alot in commen. We sleep during the day, and active at night. Workin on my 3rd year. Started when I was 19.

I disagree. You have one of the hardest professions on the planet.

As for me, I work in IT. Currently, I am developing and maintaining various Windows client and server apps with C#.

I wouldn't classify what I do as a Job... I have been Tattooing for 3yrs now. Before that RF engineer, before that jumpin out of planes for the USArmy 31R/P... The wife works as a PT!!!

I have a busy but awesome job- I'm a SAHM and I take primary care of our more than a dozen snakes. I hate when people look down on SAHMs... I am blessed and happy I can take care of my baby 24/7. With my limited degrees and the field they are in, I'd be lucky to break even if I worked due to daycare costs, and then I couldn't exclusively breast feed my child either.

I work in landscaping and in maintenance at a surgery center.

Lucky to have a job, Grants Pass has no jobs atm. Unemployment rate is 9.2% :(

Assistant Kitchen Manager at an Applebee's -- occasionally do interantional/national training, but with the economy not to many are opening up...

I'm in the printing industry! I'm an inplant technician/chemist. I work FOR toyo ink, AT ABS graphics.
Also going to school for undergrad biochem or chemical enginieering

My girlfriend is nuts over yearbooks. We have a couple hundred from the last 60 years from our local high schools.:O
