2009 Clutch #3, Cant win them all

Well I had been anticipating my Het Clown X Het Clown for many weeks, and came home today to find my Het Clown female finally curled up around her clutch. When I pulled her off the clutch I realized I only had two eggs and two slugs, ehh, but after I candled the eggs I realized that only one of the eggs has veins. So even though I am incubating the egg with no veins, looks as if my Het Clowns gave me 1 good egg, and 3 slugs. :( Lets hope this one good egg is my Clown and the 25% chance you get from breeding Het to Het, so I can breed Clown to het next year and not het to het again! :please:

Thanks, yeah, they are tiny slugs! The one good eggs does have tons of veins in it, so its a nice healthy eggs, lets just hope they leading to a Clown!

I know Mike, its crazy how small they are, no birds here though, lol. I do have Crested Geckos but not in the same room! lol. Thanks man, I could use the luck with the one egg.

Those slugs seriously look like they are hummingbird eggs or something!

Too bad you didn't get a bigger clutch. Hope you get a clown!

She was a little under 1500 grams, she was 1366 grams when I bred her, I wasn't expecting a big clutch, she just went off feed and showed all the signs of being ready to breed, so I paired her up. Like I said I wasnt expecting a big clutch, just was hoping for more than one than good egg. Its all good though, got my hopes on that one egg this season!

The Clown would definately make up for it, if that turns out to be the case, but not getting my hopes up on that one right now.:colbert:
