    1. place in baggie submerge in very warm water to thaw.
    2. leave in baggie & let thaw in counter for couple hours.

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, put them in the microwave. That is one helluva nasty mess to clean up... :colbert:

But then you can use it as a little balloon!

    - let it thaw in a cup/bowl of water. dip in hot water for ~1 minute once done then dry on paper towel
    - submerge in water with baggie

the amount of time depends on size of prey item. i thaw baby mice in 20-30 mins.

    I agree with eMonk

You can just submerge the rodent directly in a bowl of hot water from tap. (Not boiling hot water)

You don't need to wrap the rodents in plastic, I just directly put it in the water.

15-20 min is good enough. Also, feel the rodent ( sqeeze it ) to make sure that its fully thawed and warm inside. BP's won't take anything that's cold.

Then dry it with paper towel.

Feed it with a feeding tonge.

    Have fun!

The easiest way period. I'll never know why ppl will always make this complicated.

The only problem I found with wet rodent is the substrate sticks to it. So, I'll have to either hold the rat the entire time or move the snake to a substrate-free feeding bin. Of course, this doesn't apply to newspaper/paper towel substrate...

So, a little whiff of the hair dryer might be needed.

The best way to thaw them is take a kabob skewer and put it up the back side and out the mouth. place them on the grill and baste with teriyaki.
After cooking place the rat on a bed of wild rice with some fresh steamed vegetables. And some pineapple to add some extra sweetness.

Another method i use is to place them under a ceramic heat light. Not close enough to burn though. Man that stinks.

I set mine on the oil-filled radiator for about an hour and a half before feeding time. Then, I blast them with the hair dryer and feed.

I thaw them in hot water.

    Place feeder in a bin.

Run the water till it is hot and let in sit on the counter.

After they are thawed dump out that water because by now it has cooled down and add more warm water so the feeders are heated back up.

As I am feeding the BPs I dry the feeders off with a paper towels.
