New addition! Female pastel! Just hatched yesterday : ]

I guess it's true. Ball pythons are like pringles, once you pop the fun don't stop. Or better yet like lays, you just can't have one! :D

This is the newest addition to my collection. A female pastel who was just hatched out yesterday morning. I'm very excited :banana: Now I just have to wait 6-7 weeks to get her.

The blushing is all the dark patten where she is faded.. and yes she has alot of it...

think you will see more when she has shed..

Another question. Since I'm buying her from a breeder is it still necessary to quarantine her from Kumasi (my normal ball)? And if so how long should I keep them separated?

I keep all of my snakes in separate enclosures except during breeding season. It is probably best to house them separately.
She is a nice one and has some good blushing!

Most people QT for between 2 and 6 months.

I wasn't going to put them in the same enclosure. I understand that is a big NO NO :colbert: I just wanted to know about the whole process of keeping them away from another. Since I will have a rack I was wondering if it was a good idea to add her on to the rack with my other ball?

I will wait some weeks to see if she is allright...
