Snakes are a Girls Best Friend

This is my little Cousin Zoe, she was over at our house last weekend and wanted to hold Mennon. It was soo cute, she even gave him a kiss and gently handed him back.. I was surprised she wasn't scared of him at all. She just turned 3 this year.

She loves herps! Her mama has a Sulcata Tortoise that's going on about a foot/foot and a half shell length.

Awww what great pictures. I'm always amazed at how natural most small kids are around snakes. It seems that the fear of snakes is very much a learned response that gets instilled in them as they grow up since most little kids I know are more fascinated then fearful of my snakes.

Now just wait till she gets big enough to be a cage cleaner....whoohooo! :banana:
