Ever seen a RTB so dark???
Heres my Boa, He's the darkest Boa I've ever seen. I'm pretty sure he's a normal, but if anyone thinks differently feel free to chime in.

Also, can anyone help me to get a bigger pic? This is a 900 X 1200 image size, and I copied the BB image code from my gallery, what am I doing wrong?? Thanks all
And how do I edit my signiture?

You go to your picture, right click it and go all the way to the bottom where it says properties. Click that and it will say Address (URL) copy that address. In the text window click the button that says insert image, and past the url address :)

It took me forever to figure that out, but remember only post your pics. What I just did with yours is copyright, and could get me into trouble if you didn't realize I was doing it.

Where did you get your rtb? She is gorgeous.

I'm saying this nicely, but your boa looks horribly skinny/emaciated next to your foot in that picture.

After you copy the address, click the little icon next to the quote icon (looks like a picture of a mountain and a sun). Paste the address into that.

I have seen a few that dark but most were columbian/argentine crosses so that might be what you have there...

I gotta agree that snake is very under weight! Not the darkest I've seen, but definantly a beauty. Put some weight on that snake please and keep us updated.:gj:

I don't know what she weighed but she was an easy 12' and proportionate for her length.

Re: Ever seen a RTB so dark???
She sure is pretty, i don't think it is a pure red tail but a common columbian cross with a ecuador/longicauda or some other dark boa...
Maybe a melanogaster boa, but i think you cant call it like that... Only if the history of a snake is known and reliable i think you can call it like that...

So i'm going for a sweet looking normal boa :)

Re: Ever seen a RTB so dark???
I have found that malnourished snakes tend to have darker colors as well. SOme of the Balls I've rescued were extremely dark when I got them home, but once they fattened up and got some attention, their skins seemed to lighten up a bit...some more than others. Don't know if that holds any water with your Boa though or not....

well, I asked if they were interested in any partial trades, they said they needed a couch. So I found a couch for free off Craigslist and brought it to them... Plus the $40
